You know, there has been some debate about whether to remove the links from concise description simply because those are used in the skill lists. I'll look up where all that was discussed, but letting you know for now. --JonTheMon 05:13, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

Nevermind. It seems that even I forgot that a decision had been tentatively agreed on to get rid of those. --JonTheMon 05:14, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
Then I shall get right back to what I was doing. Good day. --Rumour Kontrol 05:17, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
Could you please add the simple comments to your work, like "Removed overlinking"? Really, I think that leaving some explanations is a kind of good editing style. And also it helps to understand the recently made changes. Thanks --Slavic 12:14, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

 • Fixed linkings in Dervish and Paragon skills according to GWW:GENFORM#Wiki links. Went through their respective lists and checked if there were any links in the concise description. Didn't really proof read a few of my changes, so possible errors abound.
 • Note: It seems a lot of the wiki skill descriptions have improper capitalizations with respect to wiki-linking. I feel this either an oversight or laziness by the original editor. Must double-check wiki skill descriptions with in-game skill descriptions.

Can you explain what you mean by improper capitalizations? Skill descriptions are taken directly out of game verbatim, both the full description and the consise. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 06:28, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
Something like this. I have not played Guild Wars for quite a stretch of time, but, "Your attacks inflict Crippled condition..." just seemed off. I began thinking that some of those few instances where the capitalization seemed awkward were because, perhaps, people were trying to wiki-link the word to the proper article without doing article> Perhaps, when someone came through and cleaned up the overlinking, that person forgot to lower the case of the word(s) in question.
Not wanting yet to take the time to download whatever updates from Guild Wars I have missed, I assumed, maybe improperly, that it may have been an editor slip-up. Whenever I do find the time to play Guild Wars, I will double-check the skill descriptions here. Until then, though, I will start assuming they are correct. Well, in the case of Harrier's Grasp, the word Crippled is capitalized in the description in game (I did check). Also, when wiki linking, you do not have to use the the capital on the link if it's lowercase ie cripple, cripple works just fine. I would suggest that if you are unable to verify the capitalization in game, you should leave it as it appears on the wiki. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 07:10, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

 • I repeated the same process as last night, except I applied the process to Monk skills.
 • Didn't notice anything that I haven't noticed before. Still finding grammatical oddities. I may try my hand at this Feedback namespace business.
