Minimalus UI Discussion[edit]

Nice Minimalist layout! Is it possible to add Spirit Range, health marker and various other small adjustments. (Example: Dark Glass)? --Falconeye (talk) 04:25, 13 September 2014 (UTC)

Yeah I'll do that later today. I previously avoided those bc they are kinda additional stuff that not everyone needs, but if I make them super minimal then you're right, it's for the best. Its largely what you think is best. Any extremely useful enhancements on the UI list that are useful for most professions and those that Anet should have added to the game by now. As a primarily Ritualist player, the Spirit/Health are immediately useful. Should other users weigh in on what they think? --Falconeye (talk) 17:23, 13 September 2014 (UTC)

I love this UI mod, its the best looking one I've found. Plus it really cleans the screen so much I can't even play with the old UI anymore. Still, it seems that using the "small" size on the UI options makes the chat entry bar misaligned with its actual position. Would there be a way to fix that? And a way to make the menu button slightly bigger (seems to small on the small UI size for the word on it) or the word "Menu" smaller? [1] --Oth talk 00:19, 1 December 2014 (UTC)

Alright man, I hear ya: chat box and menu button. I can't really fix the chat box because it uses the same square texture as all of the other menus, and the text entry field (also 1px border) just doesn't align properly with that box. The game dev's used the ornate border and positioned it just right to make the two boxes look seamless on top of one another, but it just won't work with the slim 1px border that I designed so I acknowledge that issue. Modding only lets me edit textures, and not actual positioning, so it's something that might just have to exist........ BUT I have always hated that ugly menu button so this is a great excuse to revamp it a bit. Will update mod later today. Jujin 'User Jujin Hope Once More Icon.jpg talk 22:39, 24 December 2014 (UTC)
