Something about help in-game[edit]

moved from Talk:Main Page

Hello, my name is Kyra, and I am stuck on Vizunah Square (Local Quarter) there seems to be no-one there most of the time, and I was wondering if anyone would like to help me pleeeeaeaaazzeeeeeeeee????? My in-game character name is Kyra Blackspirit. :) :) :) :)

Thanks.--xX KyRa Xx 20:53, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

While I truly do empathize with not being able to get a mission done with others, the Main Page talk is not the place to request such help. Being a wiki, we tend to focus on documenting the game more than communicating about playing it. Your talk page, this page, is likely the best location for this request.
I do hope you find someone to help you, as I won't be logging in any time soon today. G R E E N E R 21:19, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

Also, going to American district as the first one normally has at least 10 people in most outposts/mission spots too. I used to do that when I was stucj on a mission/area. --Blast 19:05, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

User talk page[edit]

You're just getting used to this wiki, so no worries. A quick pointer though is that we try not to delete items from our talk-pages (information can be found at GWW:USER). This page is the wiki's way of getting hold of you, as I did above.

If you're not a fan of this being on your page, we can always help you archive it!

PS:In response to your user page, character choice really depends on what you're looking for in this game. Warriors give straight-forward, head down damage, while Mesmers take control of the battle field from a distance. Details can be found on these pages G R E E N E R 21:43, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

Profession[edit]

Just saw your user page saying about profession, it really depends on what you like to do best, monk is good for those who want to heal/boost up teammates so they do not get a death penalty or have to wait to respawn, warrior's good for doing alot of damage in each attack, assassin is good for speed, critical hits and fast attacking, ritualist is good for offensive or defensive tactics, say for offense using SoS and Pain, Agony and vamparism, for me what I do is the ones I like the sound/pro's and con's of I make them, but because of all campaigns giving you 8 slots in total, I pick one of each profession, for campaign specific professions I choose not to use a certain other one, also there's 10 professions in total so there'd only be 2 to not be able to make without getting a character slot. Hope this helps you on deciding which ones to choose. --Blast 19:11, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
