Guild page[edit]

Is there a reason that User:Lemming/Guild page is not in the guild namespace where it belongs according to policy? --Wyn's Talk page Wyn 06:35, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

Hello.[edit]

Hello, Lemming.

May I request that you either revert or re-upload much higher quality images for the [Inc], [GeAr], [yumy], [KMD] and [srs] capes? Something with quality closer to that of what I have originally uploaded would be excellent. If I may infer a tip, I recommend turning up all of your graphics settings to max and then disabling "post process effects" for superior imagery. I ask this because the current images that you have uploaded over the ones I had posted are all very sub-par and have heavy pixelation in them. Thank you for your consideration! --Strong Like Magikarp 19:52, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

I would say that the images that you uploaded are really badly photoshopped versions. Lemming's versions are much better quality. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 16:58, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
how iz dey photoshoped? my gw looks jus like hers. i crank my graphics 2 da highest quality and den jack dem up x10 further in my nvidia control panel. welcome 2 pc enthusiam? --83.142.230.28 17:59, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
Let's render that sentence with a little mechanical help, as I do agree in essence. I too have played Guild Wars with maximum graphics quality, having disabled the post-processing effects; having seen Gold Trims look no different than Magikarp's uploaded screenshots, I don't understand what confusion there remains. 141.165.171.219 18:06, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
As far as I can tell, he (not she) just wants pictures of his own characters being reference screenshots for gold trims. Every single gold trim guild I've asked has expressed disgust at the thought of a cape leecher having his own picture up there, which is why I replaced them. --Lemming 19:20, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
1) please learn to indent correctly, lemming. 2) it's gww. good quality images are 1000x more beneficial than some picture of a person "just because he is in the core". 3) there is no reason why you should feel "disgusted". it's gw. stop taking it so seriously. 4) umad? i am shard, and i approve this message. 69.162.89.226 19:38, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
Why are you using a proxy to sock? It's not like you're banned or anything. --Lania ElderfireUser Lania Elderfire pinkribbon.jpg 19:50, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
Probably because it's not really Shard? -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 19:51, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
As far as I can tell, wiki's policy regarding guild pages is that they're not to be maintained by non-members. Is this not the case?--Lemming 19:55, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
That is what the policy says, so I go back to my comment about the images being photoshopped, because if he's not a member of every one of those guilds, there is no other way for his character to be shown with each of those capes. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 19:57, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
Lena has bought invites to all of these gold trims at some point. Does that qualify him as a member? In the thinking of most GvGers, the answer would be no.
Of course, at the moment, he is also no longer a member of any of these guilds. --Lemming 20:05, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
Well, if these pictures are Lena's then they can't be uploaded anyway because he's permanently banned from editing here. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 20:07, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
The fact that Lena PMed me somewhat angrily ingame after I replaced some of his screenshots suggests that those were indeed his, bans notwithstanding. --Lemming 20:51, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
It's possible that Lena's using multiple IP's and socks here routinely. 141.165.171.219 for example is not a shared IP, and belongs to Georgia Southern University. That's where Lena might be at, since someone said that Lena is in Goergia. The 2 other IP's here are shared IP addresses that are used by various proxy servers. Why some random IP would want to comment on something like this just doesn't make any sense, so they might be Lena as well. --Lania ElderfireUser Lania Elderfire pinkribbon.jpg 21:05, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

(Reset indent) "the fact that" you pm'ed me in-game 5 minutes ago while i was afk, raging at me about "lawl people are actually believing me about the lena story i have going on. just give it up, they don't believe ip addresses" is indeed enough proof you're lying to save face. i am curious, though. why did you even bother to pm me in-game? i don't really care much for what you have to say to me whether it's here or there. your stories are as irrelevent as they are lies. 69.162.89.226 21:02, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

I don't recall PMing you recently. What are you on about? --Lemming 21:08, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
another lie, lemming? wow... "honor among thieves" IS your ign, am i correct? btw, please stop pm'ing me with your alt accounts. i added you to ignore in-game after your short rant in pm against me so please leave it at that. let's be a tad bit more mature about this, 'kay? 69.162.89.226 21:14, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
You're free to upload a screenshot of anything I'm supposedly PMing you ingame from an alt account. --Lemming 21:18, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
the problem with that is if i actually cared enough i would have screen shotted it. if you care so highly about it, feel free to pm me again and i will upload it for you. i've taken your main off my ignore for the time being. i am online right now so go ahead and pm me. 69.162.89.226 21:34, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
And yet you care enough to circumvent a ban to post on my talk page about it?
Anyway, I was provided the following screenshot; what do you have to say for yourself? --Lemming 22:01, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
well, what would i have to say for myself? the following 3 things: 1) that is not a character of mine so i have nothing "to say for myself" on that matter. 2) a random conversation. it proves nothing imo. just someone asking for a reinvite. and 3) do you have the express PERMISSION from both all 3 people in that screenshot to show their names in public view?
btw, you never pm'ed me back in-game to have another convo. :( 69.162.89.226 23:16, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
Are you denying that you're Lena?
And indeed, I did not. I expected you to screenshot everything and try to pass it off as ingame harassment. --Lemming 23:22, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

June 2015 GvG Guilds[edit]

Hey Lemming, mind giving me a quick summary of what happened? I'm seeing two guilds, European Sentinels [eS] and Charr Siege Investigation [CSI], and I'm hoping there will be no silly drama about it.

I understand that one guild played for another, but now I see two different "Core Rosters", which means two different groups of people claiming that they have the skill to win. I don't want to see any edit wars (pity this old man), so could you give me a brief description so I'm prepared for the inevitable? G R E E N E R 16:09, 22 June 2015 (UTC)

Same guild, different lineup on the big day. Smoki was away for the weekend and none of their replacements played the entire tournament. --Lemming (talk) 19:07, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
Thanks. Let's see how far this one will go. These are the days when I wish games weren't for kids. G R E E N E R 20:26, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
It's an inside joke. I'm 99% sure the IP that made that edit is one of their core members.--Lemming (talk) 21:09, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
