Hello, Magua, and welcome to the Official Guild Wars Wiki! If you need help with anything, don't hesitate to add a message to my talk page. I highly recommend that you check out the "Welcome to the wiki" page - it's extremely useful as an initial guide. Best of luck and happy editing!

User page[edit]

Hello Magua, you're userpage is currently not complying with the policy on userpages. Can you please have a look at GWW:USER and change your page accordingly? I suggest you move the information on your characters to User:Magua/character name here and give a link in your main-userpage to those subpages. Happy wiki-ing! -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 18:26, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Thx, sorry wasn't aware of the policy. Hope it's all alright now Magua 18:36, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

User:Tribina[edit]

Why are you adding pages to User:Tribinas namespace and linking them from his main page? Also, claiming someone is using ebay gold is what I call a personal attack. (Guild Wars Wiki:No personal attacks) - anja talk (contribs) 12:33, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

Apologies. Trib is our Guild Leader, and it was just supposed to be an amusing hidden easter egg type link on the User page. Some of the officers are thinking of suggestions to hide links among all the members pages, specifically for the amusement of the other guild members. I'll change it to something else hopefully equally as amusing, and hopefully not in violation of GWW rules?

Ah, I see. In that way, it's kind of fun :) But I still think we should avoid referencing to someone ebaying gold, just in case someone might be offended, since it's not obvious it's a joke on that page. But it's up to you really, I don't see it as a personal attack anymore :) - anja talk (contribs) 12:57, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
Thx, I'll think of something else to hide on his user page instead. Should I link it to one of my own user pages and put it there, so it's obvious it's come from me? Magua 16:53, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
That's a good way to solve it, then you don't have to add things in other peoples userspaces :) And I don't think it takes away then fun from it? - anja talk (contribs) 17:13, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

Editing other users' user pages is not allowed and I allready blocked you for it, but then I realised they are all your guild mates. Even though you might know them and find it fun, please don't break the wiki rules when having fun. -- Gem (gem / talk) 19:33, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

Does that include User:Lama I've known him for 21 years, and was at his house this morning actually making his user page for him. If I need to change/add more stuff to his page, do I have to log in on his account? I wasn't aware I'm not allowed to edit other user pages. After the earlier incident I assumed everything was sorted, and checked Guild_Wars_Wiki:User_page to make sure I wouldn't be in violation of the rules. Sorry if this has caused any problems Magua 19:47, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
It's okay if he puts a note on his user page or talk page with his own acount that you are allowed to edit the page. :) This is not nazism, it's just a way to protect people from vandalism. I know it might be a bit bothersome sometimes to follow rules, but it's for the greater good. ;P -- Gem (gem / talk) 20:47, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
Thx, I'll get him to do that :D Magua 20:50, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
Hehe, ok. :) Btw, if you need to ak about anything, feel free to do so on my talk page. -- Gem (gem / talk) 20:53, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
