(Edit conflict) A word has one information unit (of course, there can be more but let's keep it simple). Thus a sentence with one word has one information unit. A relation of two words has one information unit (of course, there can be relations with more than one partner. See above) Therefor, a sentence with two words has three information units. You could work out how many units can be found in above comment.
