User character template

I moved your character template to User:SleepyGamer/Templates/Character so the usage notes would actually work. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 08:21, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

Don't forget the "User:" in front of your pages. --JonTheMon 13:56, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

Not quite sure if this is how im supposed to reply to your comments but I just wanted to say Thanks for the input, Amateur is definitely a good word to describe my programming capabilities so any comments/help are greatly appreciated.--SleepyGamer 00:25, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

I also moved your credit page to User:SleepyGamer/Credits for you. Anything which starts with User:SleepyGamer is considered to be your userspace. You can create more pages there, if you wish. G R E E N E R 09:47, 10 November 2010 (UTC)

Response to your question on credits

Hi I originally posted this over on the talk page where you asked, but as I deleted the redirect, it's now just a hanging talk page which I will be deleting shortly, so here's a copy of what I said:

Hey Sleepy. It's not a bad thing. You will find that the box you made still exists and is working as you intended but it now exists within your user space. The template space is more a general utility place for general templates used throughout the wiki, so your credit box was moved to your user space. This page is now just a redirect pointing to where your box is now located and isn't used by anything, including your own userpage. Thus it's the redirect which will be deleted, not your box. Hope this helps clear up whats happening, as it can all be a bit daunting at first. If you have any questions feel free to ask me on my talk page. Oh and thanks for the credit by the way, you can however make peoples names appear without the "User:" part of the title by typing something along the lines of:
[[User:Salome|Salome]], which will appear as Salome
if that's any help at all to you. -- -- Salome User salome sig2.png 10:21, 10 November 2010 (UTC)

eek sorry replaced File:User SleepyGamer scot.jpg with File:User SleepyGamer scot.png made by me on photoshop so the first can be deleted as can all the others apart from the File:User SleepyGamer strix logo.png which i would love to be able to use. how do i go about getting permission i cant find anything on the site the photo comes from, any help would be greatly appreciated --SleepyGamer 22:50, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
Dealing with the GNU is not my forte, and I tend to error on the side of caution. A couple of the images listed above are from sites which seem to charge for you to have access to them, so proof of this allowance, along with citing the source would probably be needed. Even at that, use of them may not be allowed here.
As for File:User SleepyGamer strix logo.png and others from the same site, they seems to come from a free to access/use site. That being said, typing the link, along with the original photographer's name, onto the image page would probably be enough. G R E E N E R 23:35, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
wow that was a fast reply, thankyou will add that info to the image now and i promise to be more carefull in future --SleepyGamer 23:46, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
