Vandalism / "Common Mistake"[edit]

Hi, please don't do things like that (HERE) again. Thanks. --kangaRoo talk 13:46, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

Hey, that's not vandalism at all, just a common mistake. - anja talk 20:48, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
Ya, no need to be mean XD — Eloc 21:40, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
Haha, sorry didn't intend to be mean =P I just didn't know how to call this *lol* --kangaRoo talk 23:39, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

Coloured Backgrounds[edit]

To give a page a coloured background, you can either use divs or tables. A div of an Elementalist's character box would be something like:

<div style="background: 3px solid {{e-color}}; border: {{e-color|dark}}; padding: .5em 1em;">
Info goes here
</div>

That would give:

Info goes here

There are 11 colour templates that I know of:

In each one, it contains 3 colours: dark/border; light/background/(default); lighter/tint.

For tables, you could do something like:

{| width="100%" style="background: black;"
| valign="top" width="100%" style="background: {{w-color|light}}; border: 3px solid {{w-color|dark}}; padding: .5em 1em;"|
<div style="float: right; z-index: 1001; position: relative; top: -20px">[[Image:Warrior-faded-large.png]]</div>
== {{w|big}} {{x}} Commander Deej ==
{| width="100%" height="100%" style="background: {{w-color|light}};"
| valign="top" style="background: {{w-color|lighter}}; border: 1px solid {{w-color|lighter}}; padding: .5em 1em; -moz-border-radius: 1em;"|
''"(Catchphrase)"''<br>
(Character introduction)
*Guild Wars: Prophecies
*Level 20
*Completed all Prophecies missions and bonuses
*Completed all Factions missions with master level
*Completed all Nightfall missions with master level
<br>
*Using:
**(Build 1)
|}
|}

That would show as

Warrior-faded-large.png

Warrior Unknown Commander Deej[edit]

"(Catchphrase)"
(Character introduction)

  • Guild Wars: Prophecies
  • Level 20
  • Completed all Prophecies missions and bonuses
  • Completed all Factions missions with master level
  • Completed all Nightfall missions with master level

  • Using:
    • (Build 1)

The {| is the start of the table; the | is a new cell in the table, and the |- is a new row.

I hope I've helped with this :)—Ebany Salmonderiel 08:49, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, I didn't get that last table's coding right, I'll try again after I've looked at what I've done on mine. —Ebany Salmonderiel 08:56, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
Oh, and you need to put either __TOC__ or __NOTOC__ right at the start of the page for the tables to work properly. —Ebany Salmonderiel 08:02, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
