Image updating weirdly[edit]
It's our image cache, not the image itself that goes weird. Wait a little while and it usually solves. Clear your cache also, as it might help :) - anja 17:24, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
- TY for the quick response, Anja^^. I purged the cache using action=purge and cleared my cache already, before uploading it to the wrong place. I'll just slap a delete tag on there now ^^. —Ebany Salmonderiel 17:25, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
- Well, yea, sometimes trying to force cache update doesn't help, it just wont update. Sometimes you need to wait an hour for it to work. But if you see a stretched version of the old image, that's a sign the upload did actually work, it's just caching :P - anja 17:28, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, ok. While looking through the image files themselves, I found that the one for the current cape is still the old one, but it's trying to use different dimensions. I guess I need to wait for the wiki software to process the new cape and replace that old image ([1]). —Ebany Salmonderiel 17:34, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Profession Colors Table[edit]
Hey, I saw your profession colors table in your sig testing page, may I use the code in my sandbox? ot would help me out a TON. Leave a reply on my page, I'll be able to respond faster that way ;) --File:ZakekXekWikiSig.jpg Zakek Xek talk 21:54, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- Of course you can, I'll leave this message here for my general convention, then remind you on your talk page. It was just the colours in the templates ({{W-color}}, etc). —Ebany Salmonderiel 15:37, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Images of my characters[edit]
Heyhey, thanks for that neat tidbit of info. Now you gotta tell me how to get a bold green sig in place of mah name ^_^ Vanguard 20:46, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, then. In Special:Preferences, in the signature box, use the code
[[Image:User-VanguardAvatar.PNG|Vanguard]]'''[[User:Vanguard|<font color="#009900">Vanguard</font>]]'''
with the raw signatures box clicked. You aren't meant to have both bold and coloured, though. —Ebany Salmonderiel 10:52, 25 October 2007 (UTC)- I somewhat figured it out myself xD. Ah well. Vanguard
- Also, afaik, strong and bold are the same thing, so you don't need both. Also, remember to time-stamp your messages. If you don't have your sig in the box, use ~~~~~ to put the time and date. —Ebany Salmonderiel 21:01, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
- But that doubles my mess. Your code + timestamp does the same thing >_> Vanguard Vanguard 22:21, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
- Vanguard: 5 tildes, not 4. That's what you need to get just the date without your name. 3 tildes are for just your signature, 4 tildes are for signature and timestamp, 5 tildes are for just timestamp. —Ebany Salmonderiel 11:09, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

GWWT[edit]

Usil951 election[edit]
Usil951` I guess it isnt about ant and uncle introducing you to the "new" world of computer gamming either...maybe if you think9hmm a novel thing on your part) you would go beyond the idea of beta testing and understand that I have been playing longer than you have and understand the game better and may could help out with those aspects... but then again... you couldnt see past it...
- I think you're misunderstanding what I'm saying, and please stop trying to patronize me; you're failing severely. The bureaucrat position isn't about advising and helping people with in-game issues, it's about helping them with wiki issues, which you are even less experienced than me in. Maybe have a look at GWW:ADMIN#Bureaucrats, that lists the expectations; and ask User:LordBiro, User:Dirigible or User:Xeeron about what being a bureaucrat entails? —Ebany Salmonderiel 19:44, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- ebany's right. it's an election for bureaucrat on this wiki, not anet's help desk. - Y0_ich_halt 19:53, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
GUESS your win... seems you are one of the people whom has nothing better to do than rdicule others.. but i dont see your name.. now i can have fun with this

You need to get GOTY[edit]
Really, you can get all three games (Morrowind, Tribunal, bloodmoon) in Wal-Mart for 20$. I say this because this super-early version of the mod I am doing requires Tribunal because one of the characters is wearing tribunal armor. If you want to sit through some errors when loading up the mod in the CS or something, you can delete the NPC and it would do fine. or sit throught errors and just add the books "matt_1 and matt_2" in the console :P Let me know. Vanguard12:23, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- It won't even let me load the mod, in the CS or in-game without the correct .esm files. Oh, and I can't get it for 20$ because I'm english :P. —Ebany Salmonderiel 16:37, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- Well get it in whatever currency you use, it can't be THAT expensive. The final versions of this mod will require all three since it adds a few NPC's to Fort Frostmoth and Mournhold areas. Well, not a "bunch" of NPC's, it's mostly the same 3 guys in multiple places ^___^ Vanguard17:05, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
I have a mod out but it needs both. It's compeltely different from the biographies thing I was doing, but i use some bloodmoon random loot items and some tribunal textures, sorry. Vanguard22:08, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- Oh well. I'm making myself a little alchemist's library right now :). I'm going to start off with roleplaying it collecting all the ingredients in there, then decide where to go from there. —Ebany Salmonderiel 08:50, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
I'm a little more experienced with the CS now, if you want me to make a Morrowind only version of the residence I can throw one around for you. Vanguard13:38, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
vote[edit]
You should read the clarifying section in parenthesis too. It's not just say, comments on RL politics, it's anything people may debate. Hence why it's explicitly pointeted out that even if it is in support it's to go on the talk page. Backsword 05:28, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
- But it says general comments, not votes, those were votes with reasoning behind them, what's against the policy in that? —Ebany Salmonderiel 11:32, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

Oblivion Fanfic[edit]
If you're interested, I wrote a short story, "A Snowscale in Cyrodiil", if you'd like to read it. I think it's a bit interesting. A unique writing style that I've never bothered with before, first person. I also plan on continuing it, but I'm not sure how to make her little town visits interesting. Ah well. -- anguard 17:25, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
- This is a bit of a late reply, but it's pretty good, with only a couple of typos. The only thing I'd complain about is that you need to work out which tense you're using: it swaps between present and past at the beginning, not counting the "I need to train in some legwork." — Ebañy Salmonderiel 08:41, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

Experience[edit]
Hi. The image you've supplied for the XP to Level formula in Experience has a slight error in it. The first term under the square root sign should be 1210000 (1100 squared) and not 121000. Any chance you could correct it, please? Kirbett 13:36, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
- I'll have a look tomorrow, just to check. If you want to render your own image for it, I'm just using wikipedia's <math> tags. 87.113.68.99 22:01, 13 March 2011 (UTC)
