Sounds so familiar, You're lucky so far that your's wasn't started by another -.- And already get votes w/out anyone knowing anything. Of course! How do you expect someone to know something, if it was running for a few hours, before it was started. I don't think it should be started right away, when someone accepts, but when they start the rfa with their statement. It would be more fair and allow people to know what you're up to. Lars hasn't been online in months I think, and I think ROSE has disbanded or at least changed hands. The old leadership decided it was time for something different so we gave the guild to one of our new officers. There still is no proper IRC extension for Chrome, and I refuse to go back to FireFox. Does anyone know a good IRC client that isn't ChatZilla? Or if you want to write me my Chrome extension... — Why 02:45, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

My virus scanner told me the mIRC download contained a virus called "this-is-not-a-virus" which probably just means my scanner is retarded, but still, xchat it is. Also it told me it supported multiple channels which is something I need too. Thanks again! — Why 03:07, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

Please don't advocate software piracy on the wiki. If you download mIRC, you are legally obligated to pay the author after the trial period expires. There are myriad free (beer, and often speech) alternatives if you don't have the funds -- HydraIRC, xchat, mibbit, Pidgin... —Tanaric 05:44, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

Erm... no, actually, you can continue to use mIRC for an indefinite amount of time without ever paying for it - you just have to sit through the annoying 5 second popup that says "buy me." As Tanaric said, Pidgin is good. It automatically comes with Ubuntu Linux I believe and it lets you connect to a number of things (IRC, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, etc.). -- Lacky 11:27, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

It's the lack of game updates, boredom-fueled trolling doesn't help the atmosphere here. But then again, the wiki gets swarmed by vandals whenever the game is updated. Tag them for speedy deletion next time if you want it done fast: {{delete|U1|speedy}}. You've tagged those ones as normal deletes, and U1 is a criteria for speedy deletion. ~Celestia 07:39, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
