[edit] Kalas Silvern's Issue -- 05:33, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- Issue
- This skill is fairly underpowered, and is difficult to start combo's with. Despite the high + damage, the condition is difficult to meet, especially compared to Unsuspecting Strike
- Suggestion
- If possible, I'd suggest a complete rework of this skill. Something along the idea of being desperate to finish your foe off, perhaps.
An idea would be to make it a dagger attack (not lead, off-hand, or dual), and give it a use similar to impale, but without deep wound. This way, it would be useful to finish off a foe after a combo (maybe allow lead-offhand-dual-to this to work?), instead of being a nearly impossible to use lead attack.
The change: 5 energy, 10 recharge. Dagger Attack (not lead, off-hand, or dual) This skill must follow a dual attack. If target foe is under 10...34...40% health, this skill strikes for +6...42...51 damage.
A possible condition that the target must not be hexed could be added to prevent abuse with shadow prison or other assassin hexes, though I am against adding that condition since it would also limit the different combinations of attacks even more.
[edit] Lann's Issue -- 12 June, 2008

Poor lead
- Suggestion
- Make it opposite of Unsuspecting Strike, dealing +howevermuch damage if it hits, and +howevermuch damage if target foe is under 90% health.
- Make it opposite of Unsuspecting Strike, dealing +howevermuch damage if it hits, and causes deepwound for howevermany seconds if target foe is under 50% health.
- Make it into a offhand with the above description, to chain with unsuspecting strke
