[edit] Phunky Town's Issue -- 08:20, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
- Issue: This skill does not deal cold damage as the description states, it does in fact deal physical damage
- Suggestion: fix please
[edit] Erasculio's Issue -- 15:16, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- Issue
- PvE-wise, this skill is too weak. It is only useful in areas filled with enchanted enemies that also have some sort of blocking skill; in such areas, often enchantment removal is more useful to the party than keeping the enemy enchanted just so this skill works. There's also no synergy between this skill and the other Grenth skills that remove enchantmens.
- Suggestion
- Split this skill into a PvP version and a PvE version; keep the PvP one as it is, and return the PvE one to its old functionality. It wasn't that useful in PvE in the first place, but it was better than this skill is now.
[edit] Lann's Issue -- 12 June, 2008
- Issue
Weak in pve, not as useful in pvp
- Suggestions
- Split into pvp/pve versions
- Give the pvp version short cripple against enchanted foes
[edit] Ninjas In The Sky's Issue -- 12 June, 2008
- Issue
- Too weak, compared with other Forms. Avatar of Balthazar gives you enough armor to halve all physical and elemental damage. It also gives you a speed boost. And holy damage is better.
AoM gives you immunity to conditions. Costs more energy and has a lower duration but still better. AoL is the Dervish skill most commonly used avatar for damage. AoD heals you and removes a hex upon a skill use. What's left? This avatar. This one is unblockable by enchanted foes. So what? If the party doesn't have Pensive Guardian, Aegis, Critical Defenses or Guardian, this skill is totally useless.
- Solution
- Give it a small life stealin amount from enchanted foes.
- Change damage type to Shadow, Dark or Chaos.
[edit] Phill Gaston Town's Issue
DOES. NOT. DEAL. COLD DAMAGE. Tested w/ conjure frost on test dummies in training grounds. Fix this first.
2:Practically useless unless you plan on spiking by yourself, which probably wont happen considering the for your using. And most enchanted foes have trigger-heals, blocking enchants, or damage reduction on them, so even if you hit them, you most likely hit like a girl.
- Suggestion
Firstly, change this to cold damage before that way of error continues. at least conjure frost will make up for its flaw a little. Secondly, usefulness is minimal. Add bomus damage against enchanted foes, possibly between 12-15 at 12 Mysticism, or + bonus damage against foes below 50% health.(again 12-15)
[edit] Shoyon's Issue -- 0:17, 10 August 2008
- Issue
- Ineffective in any sort of PvP compared to alternatives. Pointless in PvE. And it does not deal cold damage as the description says.
- Suggestion
- When you use an attack skill, one foe in the area looses an enchantment. This would bring back the effectiveness of the old Avatar of Grenth without making it able to continually strip the same target. Alternatively, I agree with the above comments of either adding +Damage if an enchanted foe is hit, or Life Steal if an enchanted foe is hit under the avatar.
