Discussion
- Issue
- The weakest self heal of any class, hands down. Elementalists are locked to a secondary depending on their role and sometimes it's because this skill is so poor. When you make an Ele for a split build, you go E/D for Mystic Regeneration. Ele bars would gain diversity if they could bring a secondary based on utility rather than for a self heal. This would perhaps move the game away from Buildwars because the Ele would be able to function better at stand without losing split survivability.
- The reason this skill is so bad is that it requires you to stop and cast. Much of the time you need to heal yourself you don't have time to stop and cast a spell. No matter which spell you cast under this, if you're under fire, the attackers will deal more damage than you gain in the time it takes to cast the spell. Also, they will probably interrupt the spell and/or take the opportunity to snare you because you stopped to cast.
- Suggestion
- Change functionality to "Enchantment Spell. For 3...10...12 seconds, Every 3 seconds, you gain health equal to your current energy.", Lower energy cost to 5, increase recharge time to 10 seconds.
- Revised Suggestion: Same as above but recharge time increased to 20 seconds.
