As a community we all know that the Elementalist in PvE Hardmode is basically outclassed in terms of dealing dmg at the foes we encounter.
So I came up with a possible solution to make the elementalist deal proper dmg without it being out of line.(Have thought about this idea for a few weeks already). This would make skillupdates for the Elementalist not needed since the introduction of my suggestion would do enough for the profession already.
This modification would be: for every rank in energy storage your elemental non enchantment spells deal 3more dmg (so a rodgorts invocation that normally does 40dmg at 16fire magic and 13energy storage would now deal 79dmg in Hard Mode). Taking note that one would add the PvE skill Intensity on their skillbar then the dmg would be a possible ~119dmg. If used in the Domain Of Anguish then theres an extra 40% dmg listed ~167dmg total (Lightbringer Rank 8).
This would be in line with several of other dmg skills that are currently used by the PvE community. (energy surge/ineptitude/unnatural signet/shatter delusions/...)
This buff would only be effective for the player in Hard Mode to avoid people dealing too much dmg in normal mode (because enemies take already enough dmg by the Elementalist spells then. Also avoiding people playing on their Elementalist in Presearing having such an advantage over non elementalist primaries.
Would be nice if your company could discuss this with the TK and have it tested before a possibly introduction in the game (if the test turns out good/people are open for it).
