Feedback:User/EyeTheWitch/Make CMs Recognize Players' Alliance

Premise: Lately, we have seen an increasing number of Balthazar leechers on the Luxon side of Jade Quarry (this may be the case in other Competative Missions as well). These are most often members of Kurzick alliances who do not wish to wait in the queues on the Kurzick side. I know this because I have spoken to several of them. They come to the Luxon side because the wait is minimal. They stand in the base, or at the rez shrine, or use bot macros. They don't play to win and they ruin the game for the rest of us.

Solution: Have the Competative Missions read a player's faction when he clicks on the Enter Battle button (in the same way that the Factions Rewards NPCs do). Then perhaps a player could be barred from leeching from the opposite faction. For example, if a Luxon tried to enter battle on the Kurzick side of Fort Aspenwood or Jade Quarry, he would recieve a message like "You are in a Luxon Alliance; you must enter battle from the Luxon mission."

What would this accomplish?: Players belonging to a faction would not be able to leech Balthazar points from the opposite faction. Also, this might help bring the Kurzick to Luxon ratio closer to 1:1. Then perhaps the queues would be more even.

Potential problem with this solution: A member of a faction would not be able to enter battle on the opposite side to earn points for jadelite shards or amber, or even to fulfill the "Befriend the *alliance*" quest. Perhaps, if the Befriend quest is active, a player might be allowed to cross factions. However, there is plenty of killing to be done outside the Competative Missions that could fulfill this quest.

Note: There would be no consequence for someone without a guild or someone who is in a guild which is not allied.
