Zaishen Signpost Quest Limit Feedback[edit]
Problem[edit]
When a character already has 3 relevant quests from a specific Zaishen signpost, checking the signpost simply displays the message: "Zaishen missions/bounties/battle assignments are limited to 3 at one time." While this information is accurate, it does little to help a player who might be evaluating abandoning a previous Zaishen Quest in favor of the currently available one.
Solution[edit]
When a player has reached the limit for a particular type of Zaishen Quest, display additional information about the quest currently offered. Depending on technical feasibility and existing user interface guidelines, there seems to be two ways to approach this:
Option A: Full Details[edit]
The entirety of the quest's details could be displayed. For example:
Zaishen Mission Jennur's Horde Harbingers of Nightfall have beset the Garden of Seborhim. Contact Koss and defend the garden near Jennur's Horde. Reward: 5,000 Experience 1,000 Gold 500 Lightbringer Points Copper Zaishen Coins
This would be followed by a notice that "Zaishen missions/bounties/battle assignments are limited to 3 at one time." and/or the standard decline button with text relating "No thanks, I've already got 3!"
Option B: Quest Name[edit]
Simply supplying the quest's name would go a long way to helping players make informed decisions.
e.g. "This signpost speaks of 'The Iron Forgeman', but Zaishen bounties are limited to 3 at one time."
