A point of interest, something that only dawned on me recently after seeing a documentary on TV was that the Asurans with their asuran gates are in fact time traveling, as you’ll have to agree traveling from point A to B instantaneously means that for the occupants of the gate time stood still. If the asurans have discovered how to manipulate time for traveling then also the next step of going back in time or even forward is the next possibility, which opens up possibilities for a cool quest in the personal story line of your Asuran character.
Something along the lines of: there is some item /material/mineral that the asura know existed in pre-seering Ascalon, so now you and a crew of Asura have to go back to pre-seering and get some whilst being undetected. Could be fun and intresting…
