Player Interaction[edit]

1. GM events; no, I'm not talking about holiday events and such, but REAL GM events. Where GMs go into the world, with actual avatars, and interact with the player base, host events, give out cookies, whatever. This is great PR, and for those that have never played mmos (WoW, I'm looking at you) that GMs actually did anything like this, this would be a huge treat for them. I personally miss the GMs of the good ol' days in EQ.
2. Optional Biography window that is visible to other players. Are you a RPer? Do you have a story you wish you could "attach" (somewhere you can type into) to you character but are never given the chance? Would you like other people to see what your personality or personal story is like? Well fret no more! Introducing the Biography window! Biography window could also include things like guilds; what guilds they were previously in, how long they were there, and what rank they had (could also work for bans). This would allow the leaders of a guild a better understanding of people applying to them. Bio window could also do accomplishments, like "Hey, I killed the Shatterer!"
3. Enemies list: Have you ever used your friends list to remember people you don't like? Trolls, scammers, and similar? Is ignore just not enough? Well have I got the answer for you! Enemies list, like a friends list but for people you don't like. If you guys do end up implementing something like this (which is totally original to the best of my knowledge), I suggest making it cross server as well. So if someone you fight against in WvWvW is a griefer or whatever, BAM enemies list. I know this goes against the whole mantra of making a world where everyone plays together, but there's going to be butt holes (politically correct, right?) anywhere and everywhere.
4. Allow single word names: I know in GW you required players to have at least one space in the name. Personally I prefer one namers, as this makes it easier for someone to send you a tell or whatever.
5. Official forums. The average mmo player won't have the patience for this wiki stuff, and this seems infinitely harder to navigate and find things than forums.
