I play guild wars as a warrior. The warrior is supposed to have the higher armor rating in the game and it should do the most amount of damage in the game, right?

So why doesn’t that happen?

Many other professions do much more damage than the warrior and have skills that protect them far much better.

Others professions are more balanced than the warrior. They are able to have the same efficiency against other professions without changing the build but the warrior must change the build every time the opponents change and even so he is vulnerable without the others people help.

If I want to play in random arenas or other challenge against other people I must go with a hammer because if I don’t the chances of success are very low. Why is that? I like to play with a sword but the skills simply aren´t good enough and the others professions have all advantages against the warrior… I must change the way I like to play? I must choose another profession to play? The other professions are well balanced by their own (without the second profession) but the warrior must choose how to split the attributes points around the two professions just to be just a little balanced? Doing this he is losing power of damage. One example: The warrior needs strength to do more damage right? There are skills of other professions that bypass the armor completely and can do more damage than the warrior. In this point whats the use of the primary attribute for the warrior?

The warrior in missions with other people is always left do the end of choices. What is the role you want the warrior to have in the mission with other players? With the skills of other players of other professions the warrior is good but even so the Assassin can tank better than the warrior by itself? All attack speeds of the warrior have some disadvantage in the end and the assassin have the critical agility without disadvantages? And critical defenses? And they can maintain both without using any energy?

The spells casters do a lot more damage than the warrior just with a spell (without attacking) and the warrior simply can’t reach them. The warrior must reach the opponents to do damage… And they use the skills of the warrior against itself. The warrior can’t face them without a monk to remove hexes. But they don’t need a monk to face a warrior. That is what the greatest and the strongest (warrior) has to offer?

I believe who does the skills thought well in the development of the others professions but forgot the warrior.

I suggest a review of the warrior skills to make him more powerful and more reliable with any weapon he chooses to fight with players of other professions. He should be able to reach the same balance that others professions have reached.

Right now there are lots of reasons to NOT choose a warrior to play Guild Wars. I wish that would change.
