You're sitting at a bar with nineteen other people casually milling throughout the rest of the establishment. Unhurriedly you sip from the cool mug in front of you before HURLING IT AT THE SKULL OF A NEARBY ELEMENTALIST. The Elementalist takes the hit like a beast but instead of whipping out his wand to [insert elemental effect here] your skin off, he picks up the chair he's seated on and lunges at you. The other eighteen patrons begin tearing the bar--and each other--to pieces with their own unique strategies.

The Mead Hall Arena would be similar to a closed deck style of play--like the Codex Arenas but actually awesome because in this arena you don't have skills; you don't even have legitimate weapons. Nope, everyone has equal and capped health, armor, and energy with nothing to defeat each other with but the environment itself--that environment being a glorious mead hall. Prepare for the craziest bar fight of your life.

Arena Information[edit]

  • Participation is randomized
  • No parties allowed
  • Skill bar must be empty before entrance
  • Players spawn in one of twenty areas designated in the mead hall. From that point out it's anything goes.
  • All players have 500 health, 30 energy, and 60 armor

If anything, this idea--if even implemented--could be some kind of festival related arena much like the Snowball Arena that takes place when Wintersday comes around. If this were the case, the players who do the best could be rewarded various prizes such as sweets, mead (any other alcoholic drink would just be absurd), or tokens of some sort. Truth be told though, if this were a mainstay arena it would give a lot of players a place to blow off steam and just have some silly fun.
