wtf at the update? 82.1.246.150 23:11, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

nvm saw it changed back:/ stupid vandalism 82.1.246.150 23:12, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

Special Item?[edit]

In .dat
Double-click to summon a random Celestial ally of your level that lasts for 30 minutes or until slain in combat. Summoning stones can only be activated once every 60 minutes per character, and only one summoned ally from a summoning stone can be present in an instance at a time. This item can only be used in explorable areas.

Looks like stone lol — PmaN  23:20, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
- Makes me think of the Celestials in Nahpui Quarter possibly. Kirin can use Smiting Prayers, Turtle can use Blood Magic, Dragon can use Air Magic and Phoenix uses Inspiration Magic. That's my guess, anyways... unless, of course, you get a Rat and Ox Summon too... — StormDragonZ --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:StormDragonZ (talk).

How disappointing, I was hoping for a new costume. Most of the summoning stones are useless anyways, why do we need more? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.149.248.3 (talk).
Because Anet needs to satisfy their pve'rs dark chaos 23:46, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
^ Costumes don't show in PvP anyways? 71.146.81.65 01:02, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
Would be kind of neat if we got Celestial summons for the yearly animals too. The Ox could be a Dervish and the Tiger could be a Warrior. No idea what the Boar or Rat would be though! - Zaxares 23:48, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
summoning stones suck in pve anyways, unless your team really needs additional damage from a turtle or additional support from gaki. Drk 01:12, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
"How disappointing, I was hoping for a new costume. Most of the summoning stones are useless anyways, why do we need more?" Because costumes are so much more useful? Also it's been stated that costumes will only be obtained through micro-transactions and not given out during in-game events. ~Celestia 00:03, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
Yes, but they could still be introduced during the festival. Just like the Dwayna/Grenth costumes were introduced during Wintersday. User Felix Omni Signature.pngelix Omni 02:31, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
"Because Anet needs to satisfy their pve'rs""

If that's some kind of sarcasm.. wow. The ONLY updates we get nowadays are really PvP based, why? Because Anet only updates skills for use in PvP, might include some PvE variations, but they aren't included. Main reason = PvP. Last PvE update = Alliance Battle update? --122.111.185.16 08:42, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

I do believe[edit]

That since no skill balance yet, and its the second thursday of the month, it will be another month before the chance of skill update.

Makes it what, 9 or 10 months since skill update? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Reaper94 (talk).

... I may be missing something, but the January 28 update has something that looks like skills update... so it's not been a month yet^^ 213.166.198.75 09:36, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
"update", der, fix for ya.--65.23.206.11 15:48, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Missing PvE Update[edit]

It's just cruel to string us along like this. Will there, or will there not be a massive farm nerf? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 80.203.238.44 (talk). 09:45, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Topics like this should never be started :/ - J.P.User J.P. sigicon.pngTalk 10:20, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
^ Agreed. 98.20.77.77 12:19, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
I don't care about any aspects of the game other than the positive feedback loops. They've stated they want to take it away, making the game on par or below pretty much every other game known to man. I'm just wondering if they've changed their minds. If this is not the right forum for it please point me to it. 12:51, 12 February 2010 (UTC) --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 80.203.238.44 (talk).
Take it to a fansite, and please sign your comments. -- Arduin talk 13:00, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
They've said they've been looking into Shadow Form at least, and though they've been saying that for a long time I'm confident hopeful that it will actually be addressed next update (though admittedly that'll probably be like 2 months or more). However it's unlikey to come during the Canthan New Year festival. Widowmaker 18:25, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
I was under the impression there was still two weeks of February left... ~ PheNaxKian User PheNaxKian sig.jpg 12:31, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
Skill updates are meant to occur on the second february of the month (alongside AT map rotation). --Frosty User Frosty Frostcharge sig.jpg 12:51, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
"Skill updates are meant to occur on the second february of the month (alongside AT map rotation)"- How does that work? ;) ~Celestia 12:56, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
Replace February with Thursday QQ. --Frosty User Frosty Frostcharge sig.jpg 12:57, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
I was under the impression it was just a Thursday (typically the first, or the second if the first is early in the month). I'm sure we've seen updates take place on the 3rd or even 4th Thursday before :/ ~ PheNaxKian User PheNaxKian sig.jpg 13:09, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
