Your organization is silly. Anyway:

"unsellable, non-trade-able, non-salvageable and retrievable if deleted"

Making customized items non-salvageable seems like it'd be a nuisance for those of us who want to keep upgrades and the item. Also I'm not sure whether the retrieval would work given their system, but that's not for me to argue I guess.

I like the idea in general, but the viability and specifics I worry about, as with any security vs convenience argument. I'll leave it at that, though. --ஸ Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig2.png 00:51, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

Finally, some feedback. It's the specifics I'd like to hammer out, if possible. The retrieval system is something that Gaile has mentioned doesn't exist yet, to the best of her current knowledge, and it would be a difficult feat to key up. However, I think it'll be worth it both/either in GW1 and/or 2. As for modifications you'd like to keep, I'm thinking perhaps modifications on customized items, themselves, being customizable and capable of placement upon any applicable/like item customized by that character. I hope I haven't lost you, because I almost just confused myself. Hopefully that idea will allow for one to continue using the modifications they like without fear of them being stolen. Thoughts? (Edit) Also, if you wouldn't mind, let me know what changes I can make to the organization of the page so that it makes more sense or looks better to the general populace. Teddy Dan, yo. 01:09, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Oh, your organization is perfectly clear and understandable, it just looks funny to me. Nothing to worry about.
Customizing mods is an interesting idea, but that renders them somewhat useless if the character doesn't have any more use for them. I just don't think the restrictive attitude is more helpful, considering the large number of players who will be inconvenienced and the comparatively small number of people who won't have their stuff stolen. An option to have this done, as opposed to it being automatic (and I'm not sure if that's actually what you meant), would be something I could get behind. --ஸ Kyoshi User Kyoshi sig2.png 16:16, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
That's why all of this is going to be strictly voluntary. I'm not suggesting these changes be forced on anyone. That's where the NPC comes in that allows players to customize each item they desire individually. If a player feels a mod is good enough that they don't think they'll want to sell it at any point in the near future, and they want to be sure it won't suddenly vanish one day, they can choose to customize it. If not, they don't have to customize anything. I should've been clearer. I'll make a note about it. Teddy Dan, yo. 22:49, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
Also, funny like haha or funny like ":/"? If it's ":/", I still wouldn't mind changing it. Teddy Dan, yo. 09:38, 17 April 2011 (UTC)

Hate to break it to you but...[edit]

there aren't very many discussions on feedback pages EVER. Look at all my suggestions too... mostly dead as well! Previously Unsigned 22:13, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

Fortunately, I don't mind being annoying as long as it gets me what I want. Even if that means making slight changes to the page once a day to refresh it on the recent changes page. I just hope once a day doesn't count as spam. :D Teddy Dan, yo. 22:49, 16 April 2011 (UTC)
