I do believe that Low Level Arenas was an amazing thing to do, I used to do Ascalon Arena daily, when it was active. I do believe that if people got word of that people want Ascalon Arena would start to become popular again, people would come. I also like the idea "Have an event for it, bring those arenas to peoples attention, when they knew they're there some surely will stay with it", it seems at least semi valid, but getting the word out that Ascalon Arena would start up is what would really matter the most. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:97.93.3.24 (talk).

IMO, rewards won't be enough. The real issue is that there aren't enough low levels. I too enjoyed the low level PvP arenas from time to time, but they were poorly balanced and severly limiting. Personally, I think the idea I proposed here (yeah, it's a long read) would be more likely to bring people there, as it allows any level to enter while putting everyone on equal footing at low levels - and, most importantly, links all 3 campaigns' low level PvP arenas together, reducing the spread-out-ness of the arenas. -- Konig/talk 06:02, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
If people are serious about it, then they will be more than willing to make a new character to take part in these arenas. A few years ago people used to delete character as soon as they got too high to play in the arenas, I know if people started to do it again now then they'd be more than willing to make a new character for this.
This would benefit ArenaNet because people would be buying new character slots just for this, where as if they could use existing characters, then sure more people would do it but it wouldn't be as fun. It's nice having the variety of levels in the arenas, not just sticking everyone at the max level for those arenas. It's funny going into a battle seeing that you're a group of 4 level 10's and then you get pounded by a group of 4 level 5's. Sure if they stopped the experience in the arenas it'd be nice, or if they severely reduced it so that there was less need to re-roll characters, or even make it so that you can't level too high for the arena once you're in the zone (you can't pass 10 + 99% while in a fight). -- Driver Matteus/talk 17:26, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
"they will be more than willing to make a new character to take part in these arenas" What about those like me who don't have a spare character slot and has put too much effort in current characters to delete them? Obviously people aren't "serious about it" since it no longer happens. It's the level cap and the pure imbalanceness of the arena (a level 1 could be going up against a level 10 - or easily a level 11 if the person enters at 10 and continuously wins) that puts people off from the arenas. I fail to see how it wouldn't be "fun" if instead of a level cap - which forces more money or work to playing the arena (thus reducing the fun per work ratio compared to other arenas or my suggestion) - there is an effect which nerfs/buffs people to be equal. And no one's at max level with my suggestion, btw - it just allows those over level 10 (15 for Shiverpeak Arena) to participate.
"If people wanted to, they do it." Obviously isn't going to fix these arenas because if that were the case the places wouldn't be completely empty.
Honestly, if people wanted balthazar faction, Random Arenas is far easier to do - you don't need to go through a tutorial, or do a mission to enter, there's no splitting 4 ways between the new folks (which your suggestion doesn't address and, like the level cap, is a huge deterrent to people going to those arenas), and there's no need to re-roll.
Removing the experience from the arenas won't fix things because people (or rather, those who didn't create a character solely for the arenas) would still do quests and the like.
We certainly don't need more titles - and no PvP title is easy to max and is rather useless to PvP'ers outside having an e-peen to flaunt, thus such a title would be harder to obtain than Gladiator and just as useless.
An event is a good idea though. That's the only part of your suggestion I agree with that would help things, but with that level cap it won't be very effective and the attention will only last as long as the event. -- Konig/talk 17:06, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
