I support this. Anet should be wasting utilizing their time wisely to implement certain totally useless eye-pleasing and soothing images instead of making the gameplay itself not stagnate. Pika Fan 17:03, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

How can GW2 gameplay stagnate if it hasn't started yet? Seems to me that the arguments against doing this in GW1 don't apply to GW2, since they can design around it from the start, rather than having the issues Linsey's brought up against doing this in GW1. -- FreedomBound 17:07, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

How does changing the backdrop to the login screen affect gameplay? Sure, its one more thing for them to be using their time on, but in the grand scheme of things, i doubt it would take an awful lot of work to do. Besides which, Anet has a giant team now compared to what they had when they first made GW, so its not like they cant have two teams doing stuff at the same time... i dont see the problem with this, id like to see the old login style back for GW2. -Jimmer123

It would be nice if they would allow for the player to set the theme back to pre existing ones for loggins if they would so choose so if they are sticking to the themes that are relevent with the games that are the newest addition to gw2. I did like the original login for gw the most both visually and musicaly and it was pritty awesome to be able to see all of your charaters standing side by side with the exeption of the one you were looking at which stepped out infront of the rest of the chars. It will be fine if they do the themed just please allow us to cycle through them if we choose to do so, for all we know they all might be affected by time of day, seasons, etc. But there will always be one that stands out for everyone personaly--Criminal mastermind 06:20, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
