while most ppl will simply go "No GW is a multiplayer game" i would kinda like this idea, especially if the offline version was moddable/balancable myself and possibly able to host small private servers for just friends. The game would require no limit on heroes in party though, hench men are just not up to the task, unless ofc can edit their skills. SO yeah i'd like but i wouldn't expect to see it happen, even if does wouldn't be until gw2 is released at least. --Dinsy User Ros Sig.png 13:46, 14 October 2010 (UTC)

Well my idea was more of a last resort for when they would like to remove it from the servers completely and would allow us to continue playing it as it normally is but with out the worries of lag, crashing, spamming, verbal abusive preteens, or anything else that most wouldn't enjoy. ^.^

     >.> as time goes by it kind of makes me want to get rid of the chat feature of pvp since most people abuse it in the first place... TitusFFX 04:37, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
There's the issue about moving from offline to online mode. Would your locally stored data be transferred? Then there's the issue about security since people would be able to access the saved data and most likely be able to modify it. In my opinion, this idea would only work if the servers were going to be shutdown forever. Darthlight 15:09, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
Well i imagine any offline characters would only be for offline play so wouldn't matter if they were modified as would never get on offical servers if they were even still running. --Dinsy User Ros Sig.png 15:28, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
Actually I just intended it as a standalone non-transferable single player campaign as most all games do. Take GTA IV for example, it can be played just like normal or you can play in a completely online mode that allows you to play with a completely different setting that doesn't allow you to import anything from your offline profile. More or less it's just saved as a stand alone inf file and not like an SQL database like the current version uses. TitusFFX 00:50, 17 December 2010 (UTC)
