Not going to contest the "Public Domain" part... but i have serious doubts about the uploader being the original author of this piece of artwork... i could swear i saw an article on the base for this image somewhere...--Fighterdoken 23:31, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

The license of derived works must be compatible with the original. You cann't release into PD unless the original was also PD. Backsword 03:24, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

I don't remember exactly where, but I've seen at least of these images as "released into the public domain." I could probably dig around for them if I really need to, but I'd really rather not. —Jette 03:29, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

Commons lists two exact copies of the image with different licences (PD and cc-by-sa). The older one is from November 2007 (cc-by-sa), but there is another image from september 2007 under WTFPL. In any case, i would vote for not PD, but GFDL with proper credits to the 11-07 version.--Fighterdoken 04:16, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
