First established during the Prophecies era by Ragnar Odian, the Crusaders of Ancaria are a general guild with members active in PvE and PvP activity. Known to be a laid back, diverse and closely-knit guild, members of CoA are known for their generosity and benevolence, as well as their outrageously manic parties. Their expertise ranges from players new to the entire MMORPG scene to seasoned gamers with long track records of admirable (or notorious) feats.
Beware that most players engage in a lot of innuendo on the chat so, ironically enough, immature players need not apply.(They're serious. Leave your mind's virginity at the door, you're gonna get head-raped. Mostly by Flashy, being the dirty old man that he is.) CoA is a guild for people just looking to "hang out" and have friends. In order to join, try contacting an officer below, but choose wisely. Some of them (nearly all) may make smutty comments that may baffle, astonish and/or scar you for life. Kinda like scary clowns, really. Do not let this put you off! Our officers actually are very likable and friendly, once you get past the bawdiness. Here's a copy of our Code of Conduct to give you an idea where we draw the line.
1. Inactive Players: Members who've been inactive for more than six months (i.e. seven months or more) will be kicked. We'll try to reach you by email and will leave a thread open of members about to be kicked, to let you know. If a member contacts an officer that they intend to return, they'll be given an extension. Officers who've been inactive for more than three months (i.e. four months or more) will be changed to member status. The same applies for being contacted.
2. Alliance Chat: When you type on Alliance Chat, you represent the guild. Please keep that in mind by observing the following: Do not spam; People in our allied guilds may not know you well enough to know when you're joking, so be careful with what you say; Don't ask for items or gold on Alliance Chat.
3. Items/Gold Requests: If you feel the need to ask someone for items or gold, do so in a private whisper. That's the type of thing that really should be between just the two of you, and should be a request made to someone you know well enough to consider a friend.
4. Recruiting: Recruit only people you know. Don't recruit any old stranger who types "need a guild". When you do, you increase the chance of bringing a moocher or jerk into the guild.
5. "How can I become an officer?": Flashy will periodically put up an ad to contact him if you're interested in becoming an officer. That's when to ask about it, not as soon as you become a member.
6. How to behave in Hell: We're members of the Happy Hellion Network alliance (www.happyhellion.com). As such, everyone in our guild is also required to adhere to the HHN's Code of Conduct, which can be viewed at http://www.happyhellion.com/codeofconduct.html. NOTE: The HHN Code of Conduct applies only to Alliance Chat. It's business as usual on Guild Chat.
