Inyurface Gaming (also; In Your Face Gaming) has existed since late 2005. Originally born out of the guild "We Kill For [Rank]", IYF quickly grew in numbers. The members of the guild have participated in all styles of PvP play. The name of the guild is a reference to an old guild/clan formed from other games, and members of the guild play not only Guild Wars but a variety of other games. The particular spelling of the guild name actually formed from a recreation of the guild. In early 2006 the guild reformed itself, previously named "In Yur Face Gaming", the guild was renamed to its current spelling. Once all members had switched to the new guild, the old guild was deleted. Shortly after this change, guilds were given the option to purchase upgrades for their guild hall, and after several upgrades were purchased the guild chose to remain with its current spelling.
For the ladder seasons through 2006 IYF consistantly ranked among the top 100 guilds on the Guild Ladder peaking in the 40s, but Inyurface Gaming's biggest claim to fame is in the Hall of Heroes. Starting in early 2006 and continuing until December 2006, it was a common sight for IYF to be battling through to the Hall of Heroes and claiming it nightly.
At the end of 2006 the core members of the guild broke off into various other guilds or other games. In late 2007 the guild has recruited a number of new members and old members have returned. Now with more than 20 active members the guild is once again a regular in Hero's Ascent, winning the Hall of Heroes regularly.
