The Disciples of Kashga [TDOK] is a guild that I, The Anti Valentine created on 19 April 2008. This guild is RP, PvP and PvE. We are Kurzick and our guild hall is the Isle of Meditation.

If you wish to join TDOK, then you should contact The Anti Valentine, Sarith Daemonblood or Chris Jace.
[edit] Recruiting
We would like all our officers to recruit at least occasionly. This section is to help them do so.
[edit] Here is our standard recruiting message:
"The Disciples of Kashga need you!We have cape,gh,webpage,part of large alliance,active,Kurz,small and friendly. Wisp me!"
[edit] Here is some help for officers trying to recruit members:
- New people are less likely to have joined a guild, so try beginner areas.
- Try to get into the habit of sending the recruitment message whenever you enter a town or outpost. Even if you only send it once, people will see it and may be interested.
- If going out purposefully to recruit, be patient. Just because you dont get someone at first doesnt mean you won't get anyone. The patient hunter gets the prey.
[edit] Promotion
To be promoted in TDOK, you need to stay for a week or more, donate 10k of Kurzick faction and donate 500g for Guild Hall services to show your allegiance. If you do all these, you will be promoted to officer.
[edit] Rules
We have some rules in The Disciples of Kashga. Here they are...
- You will not swear or abuse anyone in the Alliance and Guild chat. There are members in the alliance of all races, nationality, sex and religion.
- If you have a problem with any member, rule or comment, then do not provoke aggression in Alliance/Guild chat. Speak with an officer or guild leader.
- Spamming is banned in Guild Chat.
- If you need help on a quest or mission, try it first to make sure you actually need help as you may be preventing someone else from recieving help.
- If you leave TDOK but then want to rejoin, please talk to only Haru Amara about recruiting.
- Absolutely NO ONE becomes an officer without following the promotional rules.
- Any member caught disobeying NCSoft or Arenanet rules will be kicked without question.

If you are an officer, you must...
- Follow the guild rules and make sure others do likewise.
- Accumulate at least 5k of Kurzick faction every 2 days.
- Recruit weekly.
- Have a build ready for GvG if the time arises. (Applies to members aswell).

[edit] Something to Remember
- Melank = The original island that was sunk by the Old Gods.
- Kashgarsh = The island that is home to the Disciples of Kashga. It was raised out of the water by the Anti Valentine.
- Arveil = The residence of the Disciples of Arvey. It is on the coastline of the Blazeridge Mountains.
- Silzark = The Disciples of Silzar live here. A mighty fort where most of it is subterranean. Carved into the heart of a crater in Elona.
- Melankash = The name of the people, military and property of Melank. Example 'we fought in the Melankash army'.
- Melanktion = The name of the gods. Much like Olympians, Norse etc.
