Back during the time of Holy Wars and quests, sieges and kingdoms, there was an order of Knights who maintained God's justice across the known world. The Knights Templar overcame many hardships by staying true to themselves and their brotherhood. The final Grand Master, Jacque DeMolay, chose rather to die then to betray that brotherhood. Today, we honor the memory of those doomed Knights and take upon ourselves the name Knights Templar in their stead.
The Order of the Knights Temple, the name we have chosen for ourselves, is based off of a few things. The Order of the Poor-Knights of the Temple of Solomon was the Knights full name. They were dubbed the Knights Templar to combine the two part title. They had a heirarchy that has led to like heirarchies to this day. We mimic their rank systems as best as we can, with how it must be adapted.
Recruitment
My hope for The Order of the Knights Temple is this; Anyone may join as a Squire. To ascend to the position of Sergeant Templar, you must beat a campaign on Normal Mode. It is your choice which one you defeat and therefore, your choice of which of the 3 base guilds you join. To ascent to officer status in one of the Guilds, you must defeat the game on Hard Mode. And lastly, to become Provincial Master of your chosen campaign, you must have the Cartographer Skill for your campaign, and Vanquisher for all areas. To join into the Elite Guild, the Knights Templar, you must have beaten Normal Mode on all three campaigns. To advance in this Guild, you must beat all the games in Hard Mode, Vanquisher on three games, and cartographer in all three games. Doing all of these tasks puts you in line to be a Marshall or Under Marshall to the Grand Master of The Order of the Knights Temple. There will only ever be 3 Marshalls and 3 Under Marshalls, just as there will only ever by 1 Senschal for each of the Guilds, 3 Provincial Masters for each of the 3 lesser guilds, and 6 District Masters for each of the 3 lesser Guilds.
