Anyone else not a fan of the skirt. your fighting or dancing and spinning then ya stop and WHAM spikey ball right up your....um...backside. (i figured ass was in bad taste). Weaponmaster 02:49, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

The balls are made out of a very soft rubbery-like material. --Arduinna talk 19:20, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
HAHA!!! that made me laugh... hmm in my opinion this armor does not look too bad , but for the price it should be a bit more bombastic and flamboyant , but the concept of obsidian is darkness , so it should look a bit more evil Fenrir dragonbone 21:04, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
I think having wrecking balls that could take out a building hanging off your man-skirt is pretty evil looking. i definitely agree on the point it should be bombastic and flamboyant. definitely not one of the better obby armors Valion Sentis 15:39, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
I think the.... ahem.... balls, are fine. but i gotta admit. the armor as a set is a little dissapointing when you compare it to primeval for dervs.
no wai! primeval armor for dervs is weird, especiialy the leggings! it looks like you attached fish bones to your legs. anyways, I'd love to grab that spiky ball and wham it in someones eye:D dmg=99999999--Blahishness 15:48, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
Norn, Primeval >>>>>> this... The most expensive armor in the game, and Kahmu's armor looks better... Paddymew 13:55, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
uhmm how would black dye look??? i'd wanna dye it black, but will i still getta see my balls? those are awesome!! can sum1 upload a pic? Raziel spiritflayer 02:33, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

Looks[edit]

dervish rule and i think this armor shows how cool dervishes are. for the first time I have to say that this armor dyed white is better than black unless u have destroyer gloves. I got this armor and dyed it black though cause after I got the money I was excited and decided to spend even more money on the armor. Hahaha it is the best with destroyer gloves.

It looks awesome, so many details on the back and shoulders.. I just have to love it.. saving for it at the moment :D

Female Armor Bug[edit]

This is for the female armor.. no idea if males have this issue.. but for me personally my derv seems to have a little empty area on her waist. http://img51.imageshack.us/img51/5233/glitchyyypooooo.jpg ♥LadyTemp♥ 23:34, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

There's also a bug at the wrist that is virtually the same problem. --71.62.2.42 19:52, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Core[edit]

How is this core if you must have NF to get this? D, P, Rt and A armors cannot be core. User Rose Of Kali SIG.jpgRose Of Kali 19:54, 15 December 2010 (UTC)

Core means accessible from any campaign. Of course you have to be a dervish to get dervish armor. --BriarUser Briar Sig 3.jpgThe Spider 20:32, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
That's my point. The armor is accessible only if you own NF. This isn't a page on the crafter that makes it, but this specific Dervish armor set. I'm not trying to make a stand, but rather to facilitate discussion and figure out if this really should be categorized as core or not. Maybe this isn't the best place for it, but I don't know where would be better. I just noticed it on this page and decided to say something. User Rose Of Kali SIG.jpgRose Of Kali 21:22, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
To further my point, I think armor such as Dervish Asuran armor, for example, should be categorized as NF+EotN, as you must have both to have access to it. On the other hand, Monk Asuran armor would only require EotN, since EotN itself inherently requires any of the 3 campaigns, and Monk is a core profession available in any of the 3 campaigns. Ritualist Vabbian armor would then be Fac+NF. User Rose Of Kali SIG.jpgRose Of Kali 21:31, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
Also, "Dervish Obsidian armor is a prestige art type available to players from all campaigns" simply makes no sense. :P User Rose Of Kali SIG.jpgRose Of Kali 21:40, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
I Honestly believe you're over thinking this on a massive scale. Core only means that it is accessible from any campaign. And it is. There's a way to FoW from every single campaign. Why would someone be confused by anything on this page? --BriarUser Briar Sig 3.jpgThe Spider 22:11, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
Maybe there's no need to do anything about the infobox, but the quote is plainly wrong and needs to be rephrased for all 4 non-core professions' Obsidian armor. User Rose Of Kali SIG.jpgRose Of Kali 22:20, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
Obsidian armor is a core armor, for the simple fact that it's crafted in FoW (a core area)

stupid hood[edit]

I really do not like the hood of this armor, just nothing special about it, since the hood alone is ~150k, not worth it.. any other people think it would look better if I'd just put the hood of primeval armor on it instead?

yup--BriarUser Briar Sig 3.jpgThe Spider 02:14, 25 January 2011 (UTC)
