Talk:Double strike
From Guild Wars Wiki
If you achieve a Double Strike on an attack skill, do both of the attacks gain the benefit? As in, will both Fox Fangs be unblockable, both Golden Lotus Strikes give back energy, etc. Da Si 01:35, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- Double strikes only happen on normal attacks and automatically for dual attacks. Leads and off-hands are always a single strike. --Heelz 03:27, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you. Da Si
Is it possible to double strike on a melee attack? Da Si 07:42, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
- Melee attack as in skill, no. For any random attack that isn't a skill or dual attack, yes. Ooooze~ Lowerletters 05:37, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
Does double strikes count as two different hits when used in conjunction with Conjure Flame(etc.) and Weapon Spells such as Great Dwarf Weapon? I am curious to find out whether the two individual hits each have their own chance to perform extra damage.

- Yes, they do count as different attacks so they would be able do to different amounts of damage. (e.g. I am the Strongest only has 1 attack left to affect and you double strike, only one of the attacks would get that effect). However, this also means is triggers hexes twice. Not sure if only one of the attacks can cause a critical though.Crimmastermind 04:08, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
- Criticals are independent. Backsword 04:36, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
