'unique type of Drake'[edit]

Isn't this just a Lightning Drake? The colors might be a bit off, but that could be the lighting. -- Arduin talk 20:39, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

I think the Lightning Drakes have a greater tint of blue, however all the features are the same, this seems to be the only drake of it's color. Taros 20:47, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
The picture and the writing were uploaded by different people (i wrote it), i didnt know what it looked like at the time, i might re-write the entire thing.ide have to see how this pans out.however--Neil2250 , Render Lord User Neil2250 sig icon5.jpg 14:49, 10 April 2010 (UTC)

I uploaded this screenshot of the Drake (pet). It has been replaced on this page by a River Drake one. The dorsal fins of the pet aren't blue, and it's missing the scaly back. So, imo, the Drake (pet) isn't a River Drake. User Arduin Drake (pet).jpg -- Arduin talk 15:46, 10 April 2010 (UTC)

I think the main problem with that blue drake image is the fact that it just depicts some concept art, doesn't it? River Drakes don't have a scaly back of that kind either, so this Drake likely uses the same model, yet the image should get replaced for a true ingame screenshot or render. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 11:27, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
I want one. Arshay Duskbrow 23:27, 17 April 2010 (UTC)

Charming[edit]

I realise this is a long shot, but might it be technically possible to charm one of these by flagging your heroes out ahead to a Peacekeeper spawn point, so when the human player approaches and the Peacekeeper spawns, they fight and are killed by your heroes, leaving the Drake charmable by the player? This technique has been used in the past to charm level 15 elder pets from bosses and beastmaster foes. --Santax (talk · contribs) 15:53, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

Not if they can only be charmed by the Charm Drake skill, as the article indicates. -- FreedomBoundUser Freedom Bound Sig.png 15:57, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Actualy, ive noticed the Drake appears infront of them once they have used this skill, which would explain why in Loose 'Energy? they dont have pets.--Neil2250 , Render Lord User Neil2250 sig icon6.png 15:58, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Weird, I just spotted a Drake with a green name (as opposed to red) in Kessex Peak, I think it wasn't charmed instantly because the group was fighting reed stalkers. There may be hope yet! --Santax (talk · contribs) 08:17, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
Apparently after today's update heroes now trigger mob spawns, so this animal is for all intents and purposes uncharmable :( --Santax (talk · contribs) 23:29, 4 June 2010 (UTC)
Actually, it was uncharmable before, as the charm drake skill apparently spawned a drake. Sonic Saturday User Da Sonic Sig2.png 00:01, 5 June 2010 (UTC)

(Reset indent) I just moved this from Drake (pet) to Drake (charmable animal) because of the relation to Devourer (charmable animal). But this info might make that a misnomer. Of course, that Devourer is never actually charmable, either, so I'm moving them both over to pet. If you object, note it here or just move it back. | 72 User Seventy two Truly Random.jpg | 17:04, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
