Skins[edit]

I found the "Pearl" or "Globe" skin of this from a Shiverpeak Chest in the troll cave in Talus Chute. There have also been reports of getting these from Sorrow's Furnace and from creatures in the Defend location quests. - BeX 12:14, 30 April 2007 (EDT)

Canthan weapon swapping bug?[edit]

Reading this article, I realized that I wanted to dye my flame artifact to match the rest of my Nuker - and the color I wanted required obtaining a Canthan version. I obtained the FA from Jung Zeng, the collector just outside of Maatu Keep to exactly replace my previous focus item. Everything worked perfectly... the item stats are fine, so is the color and it operates as expected in the game.

So what is the bug? It does not swap out correctly. If you place this FA in a Weapon Set, and swap sets, the FA does not swap inventory spots with the off-hand item in the new set. This FA ends up in the first unused inventory slot in your backpack. This non-standard behavior has occurred for me repeatedly. Unfortunately I keep nothing but sell able items in my backpack - sooner or later I'm going to end up selling this item.

Can anyone else confirm this bug with the same FA? Is it happening for any Canthan FA? Does anyone know how to report the bug to ArenaNet (assuming it is proven to be a bug)? Thanks for your help testing this. -- Sabardeyn 08:39, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

It happens every time you try equipping something for the first time, I think. Every time I get a new weapon, I equip it, swap to another set, look at my inven, and move the new weapon behind my quest item where it's supposed to be. Then I swap a few more times (with the new weapon and my other three weapon sets) until it fixes correctly. It's annoying, yes, but fixable. Armond 22:55, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
