Netherlands PC Gameplay #137/#138 28.08.07 / 27.09.07

alright, I got both editions. there was a competition in #137 to win one of the 1000 miniatures the gave away. that one actually should have ended 2 days ago. I've heard nothing of the end results of the dutch competition, has anyone else?

So are you saying, unlike Americans guaranteed getting their Destroyer in the PC Gamer Guide they have on sale, we in Europe are not guaranteed a minipet, only entry into a draw? By the way, the PCGamer info is wrong on the GW site, as #179 is still on sale, #180 (November issue) is not out yet. It should be out now, it is running late. As for the american guild wars special, well low and behold it arrived today in my branch of Borders in Bristol as a US import, so it is perfectly possible to buy it in the UK. --Lemming 16:28, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

to answer you, joseph, I'm not sure about all of europe, but in the netherlands you had to answer a quiz question. the people who got it right then went through a lucky draw to see who gets one of the 1000 mini pets they give away. nothing is guaranteed. it is pretty unfair compared to the american give away.

anyway, all that aside, still hoping to hear from pc gameplay soon to see if I'm one of the winners. Future 18:19, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

Yes, it reads that way, but that makes it "very limited" as it was in the Far East, so it's reasonable from that point of view. I just wished they had make it clear from the outset. Now we should push for a 'destroyer specific' magazine/code! LOL josəph 08:58, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

today I got mail from the dutch contest, and I won. Shiroken Assassin. It came to me as a surprise since I had given up all hope and forgot about this contest. Still fun that I won something though :P together with a letter there was a credit card shaped plastic card with the mini pet access key on the back. nice. Future 11:57, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
