Very good, thank you very much for the images, Emily : ) I think there's one image with a problem, though - the female Vabbian armor here is missing the white parts of the arms and legs - as seen here and here. Ironically, it looks better as it's on this site right now, IMO : D Erasculio 21:35, 2 March 2007 (EST)

Yes, I've had an issue with capping various armors. I'll add this to the list of ones to fix up. --Emily Diehl 23:05, 2 March 2007 (EST)
Damn, if it looked like that maybe I would have bought it. :P - BeXoR 01:34, 3 March 2007 (EST)

Will it be possible to add the side and rear views of the armours? Omens 23:16, 13 March 2007 (EDT)

Yes, I will be adding different views of the armor sets at a later time. --Emily Diehl 23:46, 13 March 2007 (EDT)

Known render issues[edit]

The following issues will be corrected as soon as I can get proper renders for the armor in question. - Emily Diehl 23:05, 2 March 2007 (EST)

  • Female Vabbian armor is missing stockings.
That's great! Thanks Emily! I see the mini image of her on the main Paragon armor page still missing stockings though. --File:VallenIconwhitesmall.JPG Vallen Frostweaver 15:40, 8 May 2007 (EDT)
Hmm... may be a cache-ing issue though as the image on the Paragon Vabbian armor shows the stocking but when I click it to enlarge, it shows no stockings. I'll report back tomorrow and let you know if it fed through. --File:VallenIconwhitesmall.JPG Vallen Frostweaver 15:43, 8 May 2007 (EDT)
Yeh that sounds like the image cache not catching up yet to me. --Lemming64 15:46, 8 May 2007 (EDT)
Yep. As suspected. It's fixed now. --File:VallenIconwhitesmall.JPG Vallen Frostweaver 21:01, 8 May 2007 (EDT)

Headgear[edit]

Is there a way we can see what the crests would look like on the paragons? I know the Vabbian is slightly different from the others, and I don't know about Primeval. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:65.184.80.94 .

(Note, moved to a new section)
There is a page for crests already, so I suspect that it's just not quite done yet. There are very few classes with any head armor images uploaded. Once complete I believe it will look something like Mesmer_masks -- although with all images in place, of course. --Nkuvu 20:54, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
That's correct, that's what we're aiming for =) The Paragon crests page is just a placeholder atm, to tell what crests there are. Galleries is coming. - anja talk (contribs) 21:42, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

Elonian male armor[edit]

What do you think it's made out of? It's tough enough to be AL80 but stretchy and flexible to the point that my paragon can do any action as if the armor wasn't on. I'm thinking it's a type of rubber. --Chiaro 21:50, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

Fairy dust and pixie wings! - BeX iawtc 03:10, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
Well, a Warrior in Platemail or Obsidian armor can also do his emotes as flexible as one in Vabbian armor or a naked one, and i doubt those are made of rubber^^ Zerpha The Improver 00:03, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

Id guess that maybe there is a special property in the rare materials that allows for flexiblility--Raph User Raph Sig.png 19:47, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

Leather Squares and Iron? - User HeWhoIsPale sig.PNG HeWhoIsPale 20:00, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

Metal, Dust and Leather squares, perhaps the hard properties of the iron in the armour is possibly reduced by the Leather and Glittering Dust? This is Elona...Anything is possible. Kinslayer 17:10, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

Elona? THIS IS SPARTAAAAAAAAA (sorry but someone had to say it >_>) Conflagration.jpg 23:12, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Question[edit]

why does the Paragon have to stick with the white colour on every armour? I mean none of the other classes have to stick with 1 colour anet decided, per ex i can dye the total of my necro armour white black or whatever colour i like, while the paragons have to stick with the white armours.

=/ ?Spaghetti 12:02, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

I suppose the whole "Defender of Light and Justice" role comes into it, Paragons are meant to be all light a fluffy (I'll be damned if that spear is fluffy though).

A Paragon in black armour just would not fit the part really, whereas white does the job nicely. Kinslayer 17:22, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

Lets say a dark caster like the Necro would not fit in a white armour, because in the western culture the white is associated with good and the black is asscoiated with the bad. But in Asia you will find that the white symbolizes the death, so if im Japanese player, id like my DeathMagic Necro to be plain white. Furthermore i could run N/Mo and play as a healer, so thats another reason to have a white Necro. And in the end i could just like having a white suit Necromancer and i can go for it.

Now if i like my Paragon to be bad boy kickass avenger, and for the role i consider a full black suit more appropriate... no can do i have to stick with the premade white angelic queer skirts, and have to kill my creativity if i like playing the paragon, that does not seem right Zomby 22:48, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

I agree with Zomby. The Paragon armour makes you look like a big puff. I don't know if it is because the character on the armour screenshots looks a little bent or what. It would be nice not to have to stick to a little girlie skirt when you are a defender of the light and such. Also the whole white thing is a little bit too much. They could have done with a little bit less white and more area for dyeing. Stu.

I don't mind the white, but they really need some temperate and cold-weather armors. ALL paragon armor (esp. the female) looks like they just left the beach. Appropriate for most of nightfall... but when doing much of EOTN or other campaigns, I'd just as soon wear my shining blade costume just to cover myself up :/

Male Sunspear Armor[edit]

Why does it have nipples on it?75.55.48.76 23:59, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

So that enemies will die of laughing when they see it -___- Super Range Ranger Cow 17:47, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
I'd like nipples on the female one. --Elhuhn 02:06, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
It provides extra protection against Golden Nippletwister. Who could argue against that? Vili User talk:Vili 02:08, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

armor[edit]

i can't tell most paragon armor apart on sight they look like they are just a reskin of the 1 before that 1

hello stranger that left this comment about one and a half decades years ago. i do agree, they are very similar to each other compared to the other classes. doesn't help that _all_ of their armors have a dominant white surface area with only the ornaments on them having the option to be dyed. If i were to get costumes for a character, it would be for a paragon. 91.39.195.41 19:25, 30 March 2024 (UTC)

Dyes[edit]

Is it me, or are there very few colours that any Paragon armor looks good in? all I can tell is they all look good in yellow...and maybe silver blue? ugh, pink bleh! they're colours are white.. which gives litter variation to the player Zachariah Zuan. 00:19, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

My male paragon thinks red dye makes the Elonian armour look pretty smart, actually. And it helps him obey the guild rule that everyone in the guild must dye their gloves red, it being Guild:The Bloodstained Hand and all ;). Cynique 14:51, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

Skin Color[edit]

Why are all the character models pale skinned? I would like to see some Elonian dark skinned representation up in this page. Thank you. 74.130.74.45 06:01, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

All armor galleries use the same model for all the armors in the page, I don't think you'll have any problems figuring out how an armor will look in a dark skinned character :S --Lhoj 08:29, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
