Possible Bug?[edit]

If you have a regular item (White) and you use the identification kit on it, (Quickly run your cursor over it and click it) it will count it as a use. Don't know if this works on all identification kits, I only keep a superior with me. Check it out ~ Jack Rex 17:30, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Thats not a bug, it increases the value of the item you ID'd. Usually it increases it more than the cost of the use of the kit, so you make money by IDing all your items before selling.206.53.17.64 17:33, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

What is the ID kit icon symbolize?[edit]

I can't figure out what exactly it is. The salvage kit I get, but I don't know what the ID kit icon consists of. Anyone know? --adrin User adrin ecto sig.png 12:09, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure that I can see a vernier caliper in there. And the rest? Irony, I think. -- Dashface User Dashface.png 08:26, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

I think I can see a laryngoscope there too (that black thing going diagonally and that golden curve), but i bet im wrong -- User:Anon179g931

Value[edit]

It is possible to make a value of more out of them, when u get ur kit out of a royal gift. When u get it, it has no value on its little screenie. But if u indentifie it with another kit, the value of the gotten kit will be higher then 250g, (got one aroun 381g and one of 345 g); uses are then also cheaper i thought. But not for sure --Mann 11:32, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

Nice finding, I didn't know that. But how would the uses be "cheaper"? The kit has 100% uses no matter which way you turn it or how many times you identify it. --Manassas User Manassas Mannysig.png 11:49, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
