Is it just me, or is this item rather unusual in the sense that it's better than most other focus items? I mean, theoretically, it would give +24 energy to any caster character with 9 in his primary. 6 from base, 6 from attribute energy, and 3 energy for each of the 4 other attributes. does the update work if you are wielding a weapon from the primary attribute of another class? I honestly don't know about that one, but if it does then yes bonus energy to the below-level-20 people, provided the primary attribute of the alternate class would be boosted up to 9. You guys are looking at the stats all wrong! Essentially, this is a common-proffession off-hand, but instead of giving 12 energy for each primary caster proffession (PRIMARY! Meaning you can't get more energy, ever!) it gives 6 energy automatically and another 6 when you place 9 attribute points into your primary skill if you are a casting class. The melee classes just have to make due with the 6 energy. Silavor 07:48, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

I think its slightly better, considering the "recieved physical dmg -5" part. just like having a luck of the draw inscription on it, which is pretty good. plus, its for all professions, making it choice for switching between heroes. just my opinion though. --68.35.88.45 05:46, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

Erm...I think your reading his post wrong. He's saying this isn't a special offhand stat-wise (as the above post would suggest) but rather a normal one, for any profession. While it is a useful one, it is still normal.-Warior Kronos 20:39, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
