Disagree with the changes[edit]

The template might be nice, but the stories now don't even use half of the width of my screen which I honestly dislike a lot. Unless there is some sort of consensus to keep it like this, I'm going to revert the story pages. Gonna wait for a few days though to give folks a chance to chime in. I don't really think it's necessary, and I don't think "Formats articles in the same way they appeared on the website" is an accurate statement. horrible | contribs 23:37, 28 December 2021 (UTC)
I would tend to agree, it doesn't seem to add anything other than a lot of empty space to the right of the page. --Rainith (talk) 20:15, 29 December 2021 (UTC)
-shrug- imo it does improve some pages, while others are indifferent. War Chronicles in particular reads much better now. Several of these pages had stacked images that was ugly. I'd like to centralize the text so the whitespace isn't so notable but I don't know wiki coding at all. Also noticed some of the pages this would be used for are missing images that, if they were there, would clash further (The Story of the White Mantle for example). To the comment horrible quoted - that was from gw2w's template for formatting to ArenaNet blogs, I just forgot to remove. --173.188.195.148 02:21, 30 December 2021 (UTC)

Any other opinions? Steve1 (talk) 20:49, 17 January 2022 (UTC)

The unused space bothered me as well, and I also think that the larger font makes it inconsistent with the rest of the wiki. I see its benefit for the very short paragraphs of War Chronicles, as 173.188.195.148 points out. However, I think it's a step backwards for the other articles I've seen. rather than reverting the changes completely, why not rework the template a bit? seems like a good idea, but not best execution 35.128.192.4 18:02, 24 January 2022 (UTC)
