My wiki page. Welcome.

Ironman[edit]

These are my Ironman rules for my own challenge:

  • Zero deaths, if I die: delete and restart (no mapping or logging out during fights).
  • No purposeful runs/help/support from myself or others. [Grouping with other players is fine, but they can't knowingly be trying to keep me alive or help me through a mission. A regular PUG is OK. (Includes jumping ahead to get Armour).]
  • No trading from myself/others (no access to items I may already have).
  • No access to Xunlai Storage or Xunlai Materials.
  • No access to Regular or Elite tomes.
  • Skills can only be obtained from Trainers I have accessed.
  • No access to the /bonus items.
  • At least half my skill bar has to be primary profession (so I can't just go full Prot/Heal).
  • Minimise farming XP, the game should be played through normally. Side quests etc. are OK.
  • Not farming of festival consumable items, if they're dropping due to events on when I'm playing then they're fine to use.
  • No Heroes (until they become part of the normal campaigns), completing the game with Henchmen and other players (see point 2). [May revist this one].
  • Complete Prophecies first without access to other campaigns (no accessing HM until campaign complete).
  • Limited Access to the Wiki.
  • Collectors for Weapons and Armor are okay.
  • Crafters for Weapons and Armor are okay.
  • No use of Traders [Material, Rune] where prices are influenced by players.

My original plan is to just go for Survivor/complete Prophecies before I reconsider some of the rules. However the one I've had most enjoyment from is the no items/trades rule. It really makes you look at what is being dropped/rewarded and makes you pay attention to the game where normally unless it is Gold you ignore it. Getting something with slightly better stats is exhilarating again! Same as finally reaching a new armour NPC.
