Scythe Mastery[edit]

  • 15 Strength
  • 5 Scythe mastery (no more is needed, since 7WS brings it up to 20 from here).

EXPLAINATION
  • The two victory skills are normally great in PvE since Birthday Cupcakes, Candy Apples, and sometimes even Grails of Might, are easily accessible. This becomes even stronger now that scythe mastery is 20 instead of the regular 12-15.
  • Reap Impurities deal 50 AoE damage for each target that had a condition removed. While this might not seem much (and is NOT increased by Ebon Ward), it is basically 150 AoE damage for 5 adrenaline from a condition that is very easy to meet.
  • An INCONVENIENCE with the current bar is that it has little space for skills outside of Strength and Scythe Mastery (since many skills from these attributes are very strong, and 3 skills are taken up by pve-skills). This leaves 88 attribute points, since only 5 is needed for scythe mastery. At the SAME time, even if a third attribute would be used, it would only be on rank 11-12, which is lower than strength (15) and especially SCythe Mastery (20).
    • SOLUTION: For a simple build, simply get Scythe mastery to 20, since this grants you high damage even if the opponent uses cancel stance. For a more ADVANCED build; Add weapon swaps. For example Yeti Smash (assuming another player has AoE conditions).
Top-optionals
  • Endure Pain Endure Pain - NORMALLY SUCKS, however there are several reasons to use it here: (1) Synergy with the Victory-attacks. (2) Strength is higher than usual. (3) It provides survivability without hindering attacks, unlike Lion's Comfort
  • Victorious Sweep Victorious Sweep - Advantage: It lets you skip investment into Earth prayers, allowing you to get 12 Scythe Mastery, preventing vulnerabilities to stance removals. Also synergizes with Endure Pain. Assuming you hit 3 targets with less health, this hels you for THREE HUNDRED, also, due to the skill bar not requiring much energy, plus using a Zealous Scythe hitting multiple targets, there should be enough energy spamming this skill constantly.
  • Some sort of survivability skill from Wind- or Earth Prayers. I think all 4 below seem decent. TO TEST: See if the nergy is enough to use TWO of these at the same time: The advantage then is that (1) You can have a synergy effect, e.g Armor of Sanctity reduces damage by a constant, while Veil of Throwns reduces percentage-wise. (2) By reduding damage, you are less likely to be lower HP than the opponents. (3) These effects are largely permanent, while Endure Pain is only up about half the time.
    • Attacker's Insight Attacker's Insight - Probably BETTER than Radiant Scythe despite the first impression - see below:
    • Veil of Thorns Veil of Thorns - Light on energy due to the CD. However might be a bit too heavy.
    • Armor of Sanctity Armor of Sanctity - Great armor reduction while inflicting weakness and costing minimal energy.
    • Vital Boon Vital Boon - Provides extra max health, synergizing with the victorious attacks. Also has an end effect which provides self-heal if the enemy team has ench removal. (Though, this does not apply if the enchantment is covered by enchantment from allies, which is likely).
  • Radiant Scythe Radiant Scythe - GREAT skill at first sight (and perhaps for another build using 7WS): It grants 9 energy for just 5 adrenaline, in addition to dealing up to 38 extra damage, which is OFTEN achievable using the standard 20 energy + cupcake + candy apple (while most of the skill bar is light on energy. HOWEVER, Radiant Scythe skill ONLY provides bonus dmg to 1-3 targets [i.e no AoE, no survivability]. Also it is REDUNDANT when fighting more than 1 target, since the adrenaline supply is steady enough then in order to constantly spam the other 3 skills (+ save yourselves). So it is only really good when fighting single targets, while the build is LACKING in survivability and while there are many other ways of dealing strong single target dmg (which is ALREADY DOES in this case in the form of Ebon Ward + mass minions!)

Optionals
  • Lion's Comfort Lion's Comfort - Nice heal that grants 3 adrenaline. However: (1) can be interrupted. (2) Slows down attacks unlike e.g flash enchantments. (3) If this is used, 88 attribute points are more likely to be wasted, since there arer very few slots left for non PvE skills.
  • Shield of Force Shield of Force - AoE KD, which doesnt interrupt basic attacks, and is increase
  • Veil of Thorns Veil of Thorns - Nice because it recudes spell damage, while being relatively cheap due to long recharge.
  • Whirling Charge Whirling Charge - Normally WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for warriors, however with mostly adrenal skills, A zealous scythe, and Radiant scythe, there would be enough energy. On the other hand. the build already has a very significant amount of similar AoE that is much higher than this.

  • PVE skills:
  • "Save Yourselves!" "Save Yourselves!" - A very solid general skill. HOWEVER, it might not be ideal here because (1) This consumes the last PvE-slot - assuming ebon ward is used - and the 4 adrenaline skills that are used will be useable every single attack assuming that the scythe strikes more than 1 target, so this skill would interrupt that sequence. (2) with Radiant scythe granting 9 energy per attack, the build has much more energy than a typicall warrior build, so it can afford using non-adrenaline pve skills.

PROBLEM - A dervish affected by Heroic Refrain is most likely superior here[edit]
