The character is named as she is, as at the time of creating her I'd been having on going discussions with an in game friend about the awesomeness of raptors, and how we should have a mini pet raptor available. This character was also going to be my 'Old School' character, as part of an alliance activity that never really took off. Basically, the idea was to play a character through all campaigns without using consumables, PvE skills, skill tomes, etc - and only using what dropped in game on the character. Also, the use of heroes was disallowed, apart from in those missons that required the use of a hero. All activities had to be done with henchmen or real players following the same 'Old School' ideal being adopted. Sadly, a lot of the people who had been up for the 'Old School' idea found other games to play, and the idea fell flat. I was going to make this character a survivor - but at level 12 in Iron Horse Mines, I got distracted for about 30 seconds when watching Family Guy. When I looked back at my screen, I was eating dirt and surrounded by snow ettins. Oops. |
