Challenge is a test of somebody's abilities. Some challenge people face are walking facing some addiction dealing with some sickness or dealing with the lose of some one. Some challenges I went through was learning the Guild Wars wikis (GWW) info boxes userboxes and polices.
Learning info boxes was one of the easier things I learned right off bat. The way I learned the guild I was in the at the time we had a guild page. When I went off and re started up I guild I made that’s when I really had to learn how to do it by looking at the guild I was previously was in copy and pasting it and then changing names around to make the guild infobox. The second type I learned was npc infoboxes. I learned the npc infoboxes by making the npc infoboxes for use characters instead of non player character. I got in trouble for using it npc infoboxes so I had to use character infoboxes. Character infoboxes were the hardest for me to use because every time I used it I got the red link of not working and the box to not appear.
The userboxes was also a challenge for me to learn. One of the things I had to learn in making the userboxes was the coding of it. The coding wasn’t all that hard since in the begging all I did was copy of a friend’s userbox collection on his friends and re doing the words to fit what I was doing. The second thing I learned was the coloring of the userboxes. The first time I was doing it I was going on google and looking up the HTML color codes since basic HTML works on the GWW and type in color codes and click the link that came up choose out the 2 colors I wanted and pasted them in the slot the fitted in the code. After about I had a couple of rows down of copied and homemade userboxes my friend found a way to make them into nice neat rows in stead of huge gaps in the code. After I understood how to use it I went through all of my box codes and made them into nice and even rows of userbox code.
The policies of the GWW keep the sizes of pages and how much memory or anything to help the community. The userpage policy help keep copyright issues and size on the severs. The way it keeps the size on the sever by if you go over 300 kb. In my experience I broke the rule once because I had too many userboxes on it so I brought the boxes other to a separate page and linked to it on my page. The guild page policy is somewhat small but it has some major rules. One of those rules was if you make a statement about another guild in good or bad it is discourage. Another rule is if you have all guild member in a large image and putting it on the page is not allowed. Some ways to get the guild page deleted is having an inactive guild. No edits for the pats 6 month or no contacts on the page. The signature policy is when you leave a comment on a guild or help page you must leave if you edited it to show when and who did it. You can edit but the main rule is to show the time stamp in and a link to your main userpage. You can do anything to it except put bright color or have an image over 19x19 pixels. The polices of the GWW is a good and in some way a bad thing.
It might look easy learning but it is hard. You will have to remember all the codes and ways to do it.
