[edit] Pawn:
- Value: 10
- Normal Moves:
- Forward one square.
- Either forward diagonal. Captures only.
- Normal Captures:
- On diagonal move only.
- Special Moves:
- Two squares forward. First move only.
- Can be removed from play by the owner upon reaching its final rank and replaced with any other piece. Forfeit if not used immediately upon reaching its final rank.
- Special Liabilities:
- Can be captured by pawn from square behind after double-forward move.
[edit] Knight:
- Value: 30
- Normal Moves:
- Two squares in any file and one in any rank.
- Two squares in any rank and one in any file.
- Normal Captures:
- On any move.
- Notes:
- Only destination tile must be unoccupied to move.
[edit] Bishop:
- Value: 35
- Normal Moves:
- Any number of squares along either diagonal, until obstructed.
- Normal Captures:
- On any move.
[edit] Rook:
- Value: 50
- Normal Moves:
- Any number of squares along any rank or file, until obstructed.
- Normal Captures:
- On any move.
- Special Moves:
- To the opposite side of the king after his first move. Castling only.

- Value: 90
- Normal Moves:
- Any number of squares in any direction, until obstructed.
- Normal Captures:
- On any move.
[edit] King:
- Value: N/A
- Normal Moves:
- One square in any direction. Cannot move onto a capturable tile.
- Normal Captures:
- On any move.
- Special Moves:
- Castling: Two squares left or right towards a rook that has not yet moved. First move only. Only if all squares between the rook and the king are empty and not threatened. Cannot castle if in check.
- Special Liabilities:
- No move by the player may place the King into Check.
- Must be taken out of Check if possible.
- Game ends if King is captured.
[edit] 40k Pieces
[edit] Zealot:
- Value: 40
- Normal Moves:
- One square in any direction.
- Can be removed from play by owner. This constitutes a move.
- Normal Captures:
- On any move.
- Special Captures:
- Capture all adjacent pieces when removed from play by owner.
