Guild Hall upgrades (Discussion)[edit]

It is the writers opinion that a guild hall upgrade should be implemented that allows users to buy access to

various festival games (such as rollerbeetle racing and snowball fights). This would help in many ways...for example, say a certain user that has been looking forward to "pwning some noobs" in the Dragon Arena suddenly becomes very ill right before the festival starts...and the illness lasts for a long time. This not only takes away from their fun, it limits their ability to gain the Gamer title...which I'm sure a lot of people would simply adore maxing out. Also, the addition of this festival games add-on would allow friends to compete against each other without trying to synchronize entry into a festival game. This would make the gaming experience much more satisfying. Yet another benefit of this would be...it would draw may rogue players to guilds, knowing that they could work on their gamer title freely, with some friendly people.

Sure this would be fun and all...but what of price? I mean, this would give a player the

opportunity to do much more things in Guild Wars and give them a much easier time advancing their gamer

title...so how much should it cost? It is the writers opinion that each mini game would cost 100k.
This would give players something to

work for.

In conclusion, the implementation of a Festival Games guild hall add-on would make the game

of Guild Wars even more unique, diverse, and fun. Please A-Net, consider this...

don't know what happened to the original post on this, but I'll sum up. the Skill Trainer should have skills for all classes. Leaving out the 4 added professions just isn't right, imo. the Weaponsmith should craft weapons, not just customize. the cost of these upgrades just isn't worth the "usefulness" of them. the only use I've found so far for the skill trainer is for Signets of Capture, and that has been quite handy. anyone going for the Skill Hunter titles would probably agree... the Weaponsmith and the Skill Trainer should either be more effective, or cheaper. 100k for an easy place to get signets of capture just isn't worth it. -Marketstoner
