(Discussion)[edit]

Currently you can purchase alcohol and sugar from the merchant at a rate of 200g a point (200g for a dwarven ale, 400g for a red bean cake, which is 2 points). Unfortunately, since the introduction of Life of the Party, we have been unable to acquire party animal points outside of the holiday drops and gifts. This makes it very difficult (and comparatively expensive) to purchase the points from other players as there is no way to gain them outside of festival farming apart from doing the Secret Lair of the Snowmen, which nets you 2 points per run in hard mode. Adding 1 point party animal items at the merchant for 200g each would be the ideal way to keep prices affordable and make the title less of a grind as people could spread their farming out over the entire year (in the form of farming for money) so that they can purchase when they want to, instead of waiting for a holiday and having to spend the entire time doing runs that get quite boring after the nth time just to be able to maximize their gains.

Why this is a good idea
  • Keeps party animal points at the same price-range as sugar and alcohol when purchasing from players
  • Reduces the feeling of requirement to grind holiday drops in order to max the title
  • Provides a sense of balance and order to the universe.
Why it may not work out
  • Amount of programing required to add an item to the merchant
