I don't see the point to adding "As with every weapon, the _________ can be customized to deal 20% more damage for the price of 10 from any Weaponsmith." to every weapon page on the wiki. It seems like unneccesary clutter. What is your reasoning for that? Vald [Citation Needed] 01:02, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
The purpose of that is for people who come from games such as WoW, Runescape, or any other game that you craft your armor or weapons using a skill such as smithing can just look to see that there is a NPC called a "Weaponsmith" and that they can customize weapons. Now that the user knows that they can come in contact with a weapon smith they can wiki it and find out that weapon smiths are good for a, b, c, things. Its essentially the answer to a question new people either haven't become aware of yet, or are asking.
- If you're going to change the formatting of a large number of weapon pages, you should get consensus first, possibly on the GWW:WEAPONS talk page. --Silver Edge 01:40, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
- You don't need to post the same answer on the questioner's talk and your talk. Just where they asked it would be fine. Kaisha 19:40, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
