Preface[edit]

This build is designed for Alliance Battles, so it's not quite as power-play oriented as a build designed for TA/HA.
While the build lacks pressure capacity, it does bring a pretty nasty spike to the table, and its aim is to quickly eliminate enemy teams by way of spiking out targets in rapid succession. What the build lacks in pressure output, it makes up for with an incredibly ability to withstand pressure, with the midline derived from several defense-heavy HA and GvG builds of the past.
The build features both partywide IMS and snares, all of which are ideal for controlling movement in Alliance Battles. However, the build lacks the raw "capping" power of builds that feature fire eles, so it's much better suited for preventative measures than for actually taking shrines.
Any of the three offensive characters can act as caller, but the position is ideally filled by the Mind Shock ele or Dervish, since their energy is compromised by exhaustion. The caller should note that blocking is not an effective counter to this build, as the majority of the damage comes from spells. Protective Spirit is also relatively ineffective, as the damage is divided into several packets. Sirit Bond, however, will all but nullify a spike completely.
