"community" is not "number of players"[edit]

Yes, there are more than 50 people who play TA. There are probably several hundred who do it regularly. The TA community, however, is not severed hundred people big - there are only about 50 people well-known for doing TA (who post on forums about it, who talk amongst each other, and who even post on the balance forums about it). Same with HB. There have been a few top-tier players, but by and large, it's just a bunch of nobodies that have never connected to each other or have given their thoughts on the matter to the public in any kind of organized fashion.
GvG had thousands and thousands of people playing, back in the day - but the GvG "community" has never really been more than a thousand players. That doesn't mean that there are only 1000 people who play GvG, it just means you're really only going to hear dissent and disagreement from those 1000 people. GvG, however, is a much more challenging, competitive, complex and fun game type than TA and HB have ever been, so naturally it's going to have a bigger community - but still, the "community" is always going to be smaller than the "total number of players." I felt the need to explain this here because you totally didn't understand it on Linsey's page. -Auron 09:12, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

Makes sense. But if you reduce it on the forum activity there are still much more HB players than TA players. The GW forums i browse are full of HB players that reglarly complain how broken their format is. Vortex 09:38, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
