Bubble Quote Boxes: Option to Disable (Discussion)

Option to disable those bubble quote boxes. The most annoying situation that these are used is in battle taunts by NPCs. I'd rather watch what is happening in the battle instead of having the battle covered by a black quote box containing a quote which has no importance. It's like watching an action movie but the action is covered by a black box.

Around town, quote boxes from real people are slightly useful so you can see where a speaking character is, but this is more disruptive than useful; you can target a speaker in other ways. Or if by clicking the person's name, you would also target that person (like the whisper function) then the bubble wouldn't be needed at all.

There are important things that are posted in quote bubbles such as info from NPCs while out on quests. These should be double posted into the chat window so the player can read them at his/her leisure and not miss anything interesting. As it is, I often see off in the distance some NPCs saying things to each other, but I'm paying attention to something else at the moment and can't read what they are saying thus missing whatever they said. I've found that they also don't repeat their conversation.

As an example, in the Gates of Kryta mission, when you approach the area in front of the closed gate, there are two NPCs having a conversation on the left about market prices. I also noticed down by the gate, a guard saying something about someone looking familiar. I didn't get to see what the guard was saying because I was paying attention to the NPCs arguing about price. Had those quotes been posted to the chat window or had they repeated their conversation, I would have been able to see it.

Why this is a good idea
  •  Provides the option to clear up the view so players can see what they'd like to see.
  •  Posting to chat window allows players to not miss information that they might find interesting.
  •  Because this is an option, a person who likes these battle taunts could keep them.
Why it may not work out
  •  May be another option in a confusing sea of options.
  •  Though chat windows are usually clear in explorable areas, it may muddle them up somewhat.
